We are so excited to share some

of headliners for Carbondale

Rocks Revival 3 (CRR). Within

this special line-up announce-

ment, you can find information

about some of the bands that will

be coming for the festival in

2013! See you at the rock show!

Driving gypsy jazz

the foundation for

mesmerizing vocalharmonies and

fantastic stories. Its

theatrical and hu-

morous. Its musi-

cal and intense. It

entertains, dazzles,

and defies classifica-

tion while welcoming the spectator to join the band

throughout the performance in momentary fits of

claps, snaps, and sing-alongs. If Django Reinhardt, the

cast of Stomp and the Beatles all had a party at Tim

Burtons house, Caravan of Thieves would be the

that Nashville has a fe-

male counterpart to Jack

White in the rocking

blues category. Theband is the right combi-

nation of Nashville vet-

erans John Radford, Joe

McMahan, Adam Bed-

narik and Melissa

Mathes who is Luella.

Drawing from Blues and gospel in live performances Luella of-

ten begins things acapella bringing things to a ferocious frenzy

even before her band mates kick in. Their recorded output is a

"single" so far, with more to come.

tionally as a

performer and

assiduous pro-

ducer. Hijacking

a huge variety of

genres and fus-ing them into

one well

worked set has set him apart from other DJs, as well as his

Top 100 Breaks, Glitch Hop, & Dubstep charts. His tracks

have been dropped by some of the biggest names in the

EDM community. Artists such as Diplo, Evol Intent, Deek-

Cedric was born and

raised in Holly Springs,

Mississippi. At the

young age of 13, hebegan touring around

the world playing

drums with his grand-

father, North Mississip-

Marbin is an instrumen-

tal rock band based in

Chicago IL. Marbin first

started in 2007 as an

improvised music duo

consisting of Israeli-

American guitarist Dani

Rabin and Israeli saxoph-

onist Danny Markovitch.

Markovitch and Rabinmet shortly after Markovitch had completed his military service as

an infantry sergeant and Rabin had graduated from Berklee Col-

lege of Music. Since 2008, Marbin has been living in Chicago and

performing all over the United States, playing over 250 shows a

year with the accompaniment of drummer Justyn Lawrence and

Bassist Jae Gentile.

is a potent combination and it works. The Quartet plays wild
