Meet The Conquer! TeamSkip & Brad MillerThe Miller brothers of the gym Front Range CrossFit are the best independent fitness competition operators in the business. Operators of the CrossFit Southwest Regionals from 2009-2012 and creators of The Colorado Open. Front Range CrossFit was one of the earliest registered CrossFit gyms and is the gym that has sent more total athletes to the CrossFit Games than any other gym in the world. Their competition event series regularly sell out in minutes and offers the highest level of competition and attendance of any gym-based competition in the country.

Kristen Olson Kristen is founder of Colorado Rising Stars Lacrosse, LLC (CRS LAX), a former Reebok CrossFit and C9 by Champion marketing executive, and currently Director of Community Relations For Barbells For Boobs (Mammograms in Action). Kristen lives and breathes event marketing and sponsorship. She played Division 1 Women’s Lacrosse in college and brings that same passion to the world of competitive fitness as a high level competitor and industry insider.

Michael Silverman Michael is President of Silverback Holdings, a family office investment company, and founder of GoCrowd – an online platform streamlining the promotion, production, monetization, and social media management of live events. Michael has interests in a wide array of industries and sits on the investment committee of Red Idea Partners, a Boulder-based consulting and venture firm focusing on consumer products. His primary focus however currently resides in the event production and promotion sector through his efforts with GoCrowd, the Conquer! Event Series, and other portfolio companies.

Jason WinklerJason has been in television and events for nearly two decades. After starting his event production career by co-founding Mountain Sports International and working extensively for Red Bull, Quiksilver and others, he went on to found Big Bang Productions and then Wink Inc.. Wink Inc. has offices in Denver and Jackson Hole and is the premier television and event production company focusing on action sports. Over the past decade, Wink Inc has been responsible for producing more than 250 hours of High Definition action sports programming, making them one of the largest producers of HD content in action sports

Matt FeldbergMatt comes from an event production and agency background where he spent the past 5 years producing special events and concerts everywhere from San Francisco to Barcelona. Nowadays, Matt splits his time between managing monthly concerts in Colorado and California via his production company Redeye Presents, and producing national event properties with San Francisco creative agency The Flavor Group for clients like Red Bull, SCION, Samsung, and UNIQLO.

Evolution of Conquer!The Conquer! Event Series was founded after multiple conversations between the team members of both the demand and the market opportunities available in professionally produced competitive exercise events.

The most professionally produced series is done by the CrossFit Games. However, this event series is short, linear, and focuses only on finding the fittest in the world without paying attention to spectator experience, entertainment, or branding opportunities.

In response to the incredible demand for these types of events and the relative gap left by the only other professional operator, there has been an outpouring of small, poorly produced competitive events, that nonetheless receive overwhelming community support due to the demand.

Competitive exercise events of this nature are notorious in their penchant for poor judging, poor timing, and extreme disorganization. The Colorado Open is a stark contrast to the other independent events run all over the country. Thus, Conquer! is excited to have the operators of The Colorado Open managing the competition portion of all Conquer! Event Series events.

The Conquer! Event Series, starting with Conquer! Denver, intends to bring professional-level competition, entertainment, content, and event production to every major market that supports competitive exercise. There is an enormous market opportunity to become the preeminent event property that can not only facilitate the promotion of competitive exercise as a sport but allow an ongoing series events in line with major sports franchises such as Tennis, Mixed Martial arts, and Golf.
