Installation

1. WP Sugar pro is very easy to install like as other simple Wordpress plugins. No need to edit or modify anything here in code.

2. Unzip the file 'wp-sugar-pro.zip'.

3. Upload the ' wp-sugar-pro ' directory to '/wp-content/plugins/' directory using ftp client

4. Or you can upload and install wp-sugar-pro.zip through plugin install wizard in WP admin panel.

5. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in Wordpress.

6. After activating, you will see an option for ‘Wp sugar’ in the admin menu (left navigation).

There is a paid installation / configuration support. If not purchased along with product you can contact us for

Installation Support.

Configuring wp-sugar-pro

• Once the plugin is installed and activated, wp-sugar-pro menu should be visible in left column.

• By clicking the WP Sugar Pro menu you can access the settings page as in screenshot01.

• Enter your host address, Username, Password and Unique key details Host address is the path location to your

SugarCRM.

• You Username and Password fields are the username and passwords of you SugarCRM login

• For Unique Key go to your config.php in SugarCRM root

• Search for unique_key

E.g. 'unique_key' => 'd27f7a4e7c43f07bfbd377caf8c9b33a';

• If you enable captcha enter the public key and private key details.

• To get a free account please visit http://www.google.com/recaptcha and create one like in screenshot 05.

• Save the settings

Creating Lead Capture Form

• Once the settings are saved, you can go to lead fields menu.

• Initially you need click the Fetch CRM Fields button to retrieve all fields from VTiger CRM like in this snap.

• You can see all the fields now

• By default all fetched fields are active, Select all hit Inactivate Selected.

• Please verify below screenshot as Nos 1 – 8.

• Or select the required fields and hit Inactivate Selected to make inactive as in 1 and 2 in below snap.

• Those fields are show with green tick and Red Cross icons, to show it is active or not as no 3.

• Those fields are mandatory in SugarCRM can’t be altered from WP admin.

• You can change the field orders using the up and down green arrows as marked as no 4

• Also you make some extra fields as mandatory as shown in no 5

• You can change the Label Name to override the SugarCRM field name in generated form.

• Enable Duplicate check option but email should be mandatory to make this work as shown in No 7.

• To generate the form in a page or post use the short code as shown at no 8 and in below snap.

• Assign SugarCRM Users to the form from the drop down

• For widgets forms just check Generate short code for widget

• Use the widget short codes for widget area.

• Create a post or page and paste the short code.

• Publish the page/post.

• Go to that page, you can see the form with selected field settings.
