Crime Writing [Imagine you have been convicted to a crime. Write a diary entry explaining why you were forced to commit the crime and how you feel about it. Use at least 5 of the terms learnt in connection with crimes and the legal system.] Dear diary, I have done a horrible mistake. I am completely rejected about my actions. Charles Swift, a murderer that I had met in a bar once, offered me a deal last week. It consisted in me robbing a gun shop. As a reward, I was going to receive 5000 dollars. I was suffering an economic crisis, so I was fully imnotised by the amount of money I was going to be given. Without even thinking or knowing my own consequences, I accepted the deal. I was an accomplice of a serial killer. On Saturday, I went to the shop and I started putting guns in my bug. It was the first time I was committing a crime. At that moment, I started thinking on the consequences. I could be trapped by a policeman and then sent to jail. I was going to expend my entire life in prison just for money, a material thing that will disappear during a couple of months. It doesn’t make sense. So I called my “boss” and told him I wasn’t able to fulfill the deal. He was very angry. He forced me to commit the crime. I have no other option than being a shoplifter. Now here I am. In a court with a judge that will decide if I am guilty or not. I know I’m not guilty. I am going to plead myself innocent. I will justify the fact that I robbed the shop, by saying that Charles forced me to participate on a deal I didn’t want to be part of. By: Juana Pérez Muñiz

[Imagine you have been convicted to a crime. Write a diary entry explaining why you were forced to commit the crime and how you feel about it. Use at least 5 of the terms learnt in

connection with crimes and the legal system.] Dear diary,

I have done a horrible mistake.
