HOW CREATIVE ARE YOU:

Creativity is the mental and social process involving the generation of new ideas or concept. In other words creativity is the act of making something new. Creativity also determines if you have personality traits, attitude, values, motivation and interests in creating the new ideas. It is also associated with lateral thinking.

My score is shown in the table below:

Interpretation:

My score clearly interpret that I fall under the second quartile (47-54) position with the mean score of 55.99. So this clearly indicates me that my creativity is weak I need to develop this.

How I will develop creativity:

So in order to improve my creativity I have to take the various actions firstly I started attended the seminar about how to be creative with expert speakers from their I learned in order to develop creativity I need to defining the actual problem of each and every question by considering the difference between fact and opinion and also by underlying the causes. And afterwards generate both long term and short term alternative by considering individual involvement in group then evaluate and specify it by considering the effects and side effects of the alternatives. And then implement it and follow up so this helped me a lot. So now I am becoming more creative than earlier and my creativity graph is also moving up.

INNOVATIVE ATTITUDE STYLE:

Innovation only means to produce and invent something new that has never been done before innovative attitude style helps you to judge how innovative attitude you possess in creating the new ideas and new methods which will make you unique from the whole bunch of student.

My score of innovative attitude style assessment is shown below:

Interpretation:

My score indicates that I fall under the third quartile (73-78) with mean score of 72.41which clearly interprets that I need to do a little work on my innovative attitude.

Areas of strength:

In innovative style attitude I have divide my areas of strength in two parts according to the rating which are ``Almost always true and ``Often true. So let’s proceed further.

1. Almost always true: The things which are almost always true about my innovative attitude are that I try the new ideas and approaches to problem by brain storming and by applying new approaches to deal with the problems. I also take the opportunities to incorporate ideas from other fields and use it my present work. I also avoid jumping at the conclusion without concerning other`s ideas. While working in a group I always listen to the fellow being before arriving at final result.

2. Often true: The things which are often true about my innovative style is that I often do the open discussion with fellow students on how to get ahead or move forward if we obstruct by some problem. Moreover I also demonstrate my originality in my work while working with other I don’t change my style according to them. I also willing to work on the problem which causes a great problem to others I often take this type of challenges and give my best effort to solve that problem. I am good at working in team to solve complex problem and provide input regarding the solution which I knew .

Areas of development:

This part is further divided into two parts. Which are: “Seldom true” and “almost never true”.

1. Seldom true: There are various things which are seldom true I am not the first on who tries the new method among my colleagues. Moreover I seldom develop my contracts with the experts outside my areas of interest or speciality. I don’t devote a time to peruse my own ideas and projects. So in order to develop this I have taken the following actions. I I am making a contact with the experts of another field my joining various business sites and attending social and business parties .secondly I have started devoting my time to my project by making a proper time schedule.

2. Almost never true: There are various things which are never true about myself firstly I never use my personal contact to expand my option for new job and assignment. Secondly I never tolerate person who depart from organizational routine. The action taken by me in order to develop this I is giving my business card to my friends and known ones who can give my references to business persons and also attending the regular seminars of business executives and try to make contacts with them by giving them my business card.

CREATIVE STYLE

Creativity identifies four distinct methods for achieving. This approach is based on competitive values. The four types of creativity are: imagination, improvement, incubation and investment.

Interpretation:

My score clearly indicates that I am good in imagination and improvement as I score 32.86 in imagination and 31.43 in improvement so these are my strength. And I have to keep this as strength only.

Areas of strength:

So my area of strength in creative style are imagination and improvement which means I always use to think out of the box and tries to find out the new ideas , breakthroughs and approaches to solve the problem. Secondly I am also good in improvement I learns from my mistakes I try to measure my performance with the standards and see what the steps can I can improve myself I have developed this since my school time I usually keep the track of my performance with the actual and see if my performance is matching my actual standard or not if not then I take the action to improve my performance and match it with my actual performance.

Areas of development:

The areas which I need to develop are incubation (team work, coordination and involvement) and investment (rapid goal achievement, quick response than others). I have taken various steps to develop this I have started interaction among my team members by doing work together and listening to their points also then arrived at final solution. The person who influences me to improve this is Mahatma Gandhi who makes the network with lots of people to get India free. For investment I have started working harder to explore the weakness of the others and which results me the first to produce the productive and innovative ideas this will help me to raise my level in future.

Reflective comment:

By doing this assessment I came to know about my areas of strength and development and where can I use my strength to obtain the maximum productive result in creating new ideas in the group and while working on assignments or projects. This assessment also makes me aware of my areas of development which helped me to take earlier actions to convert my area of development into strength.
