Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

This films opening sequence is very creative as it uses CGI to build up an environment that follows a fuse through a wall and a series of tunnels, this is effective because it highlights the fundamental concept of espionage within the Mission Impossible franchise. The fuse travels for a short time until it eventually splits into two and creates a sign that titles the film. A man (assumingly Tom Cruise) runs through a tunnel with a flashlight. This again is illustrating how there is some form of secret agent style to the film. The next part of the sequence is shown as the fuse burns underwater near a submarine that abruptly fires a missile. You are then shown the firing mechanism inside a gun that Tom Cruise is pictured shooting. The whole sequence is shot in a sense of high octane and adrenaline to even further enhance the whole stealth image behind the films. A briefcase and a bomb is shown once the sequence follows a car chase.
