INTRODUCTION

EACEA is introducing harmonised electronic reporting across all actions, the Culture eReport.

It replaces the existing interim and final reports of projects funded by the Creative Europe

Culture subprogramme.

The purpose of the Culture eReport is to submit key data on the implementation of your

project, your achievements and acquired skills, your cultural, creative and professional

development through the projects and the areas you have focused on to meet your goals. At the

same time, this self-assessment tool will improve the service we provide to the Creative Europe

Culture sub-programme and ultimately to the cultural and creative sectors by enabling reliable

and proportionate data collection, streamlining reporting requirements and ensuring the

principle of asking project data only once, hence reducing the administrative burden on the

beneficiaries, whilst ensuring the availability of meaningful information on the performance of

the funded projects.

The Culture eReport does not change the terms and conditions for reporting, payments and

payment arrangements, which remain the same, as defined in your grant agreement.

In accordance with the provisions set out in your grant agreement, you are required to submit

final and interim reporting (when applicable) of your project within 60 days following the end

of each reporting period and the payment provisions set out in the grant agreement. The newly

introduced Culture eReport will require you to provide us with 4 annexes as described below,

next to the online Part 1 of the Culture eReport.

Before complete and submit the eReport, read carefully the Guidance on contractual project

management. We advise you to consult the simulation of the filled-in eReport about the

different tabs of the online tool and the narrative technical reports. Both documents are

available under the beneficiaries space dedicated to each call

Structure of Interim- Final Culture eReport

The Culture eReport comprises 5 parts:

Part 1 – Technical eReport includes structured tables: basic contractual data on your project,

a project summary that will be made public on the website of the European Commission,, the results

achieved and your responses to the questionnaire, detailing how effectively and efficiently the

project was implemented with particular reference to the Creative Europe key performance

indicators and monitoring requirements. An open space provides for your feedback on the

resulting impacts, any lessons learnt from implementing your project and your own story-

telling in support of your project. Part 1 is generated by the EACEA reporting system. It must

be filled in online. It is recommended to save the submitted information frequently, even if

there is an automated backup.

Part 2- Narrative technical report covers other qualitative aspects of project implementation,

such as, the project's relevance to the Creative Europe, the quality of activities carried out, the

communication aspects and the quality of partnership along the individual partner evaluation

forms. Please upload Part 2 as a pdf document following the template of Part 2 Narrative

report.

Part 3 - Financial statement consists of the summary financial statement and dedicated excel

worksheets on different categories of costs. Please upload Part 3 as an excel document

following the templates of Part 3 Financial statement.

Part 4 – Audit Certificate (“Report of Factual Findings on the Final Financial Report –

Type I or II”). Please refer to Annex VI of your grant agreement for information on the type of

report you have to submit. The mandatory templates can be downloaded from

https://eacea.ec.europa.eu/about-eacea/document-register_en. A signed overview of the final

financial statement must be attached to the audit certificate. Please upload Part 4 as a pdf

document following the templates of report of factual finding on the final financial report –

Type I or II.

Part 5 - Declaration of Honour must be signed by the legal representative of the project.

Reporting functionalities

The Culture eReport is activated at the EACEA eReporting system. It is continually open for

the beneficiaries to report, modify and follow up the development of their projects before the

final submission of the eReport to the Agency. Please be aware that access rights to the eReport

are given automatically to your partners. The coordination of their input remains a

responsibility of the coordinator. Interim and final eReports can be submitted only once.

Preparing your report

Please go into the EACEA eReporting system through the Participant portal and 'My Area'.

The eReport User Guide will provide you with detailed instructions on how to complete and

submit your project's report using the Culture eReport.

Additional guidelines on how to fill in your Culture eReport and attachments will be published

soon.

characters including spaces (equivalent to 1 page).

future projects by both the participating organisations and the European Commission –

EACEA.

We encourage you to share your own story-telling in support of your project below or by some

EACEA may publish your story with the Creative Europe label as a way of acknowledging your

confirmed commitment to the arts, promotion of cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue,
