Dark Chocolate Waffles8 ounces al l-purpose flour, apprx 1 3/4 cup1 tbsp. sugar1.5 ounces cocoa powder, apprx 1/2 cup1 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. baking soda3 whole eggs, beaten2 ounces unsalted butter, melted and sl ightly cooled1 tsp. pure vanil la extract10 ounces milk, room temperature3/4 cup Monin Dark Chocolate SauceVegetable spray for the waffle iron

Whisk dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, Monin Syrup, melted butter and vanilla, then add milk. Add to the flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Allow to rest for 5 minutes. Ladle the recommended amount of waffle batter onto the center of the iron. Close the top and cook until cripy on both sides. Serve immediately. Recommended toppings include Monin Banana Puree, fresh banana slices, Maple & Hazelnut Syrup, roasted hazelnuts.

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate. Use to baste beef, pork or seafood after grilling.

Spicy Mango Wing Sauce1 cup favorite hot wing sauce3 tbsp. (1.5 fl oz) Monin Spicy Mango Syrup

Combine ingredients in bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined. Store at room temperature.

Flavored Cream Cheese1 cup cream cheese, softened2-3 tbsp. Monin Syrup of your choice

Soften cream cheese to room temperature. Combine ingredients in bowl and beat with spoon until thoroughly combined.

Chocolate & Gingerbread Truffles1 lb. bittersweet chocolate, f inely chopped6 fl . oz. heavy whipping cream4 tbsp. Monin Gingerbread Syrup1/4 cup crystalized ginger, f inely chopped2/3 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder

Place chopped chocolate in heatproof bowl and set aside. Place cream in small saucepan

over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Pour hot cream over chocolate and let sit for 5 minutes, then whisk together until smooth. Add Monin Syrup and stir again. Finally, stir in crystalized ginger until well combined. Pour mixture into 8x8 baking dish. Cover and refrigerate until hardened, at least 5 hours. Use a small melon baller or teaspoon to scoop 1-inch sized balls into your hand and roll between palms until smooth and round. Then roll the truffles in cocoa powder until evenly coated. Store at a cool room temperature for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
