PROGRAM:
CREATING GAME CHANGING INNOVATIONS: HOW TO DISRUPT YOUR INDUSTRY WITH RADICALLY NEW PRODUCTS
Recent developments in business trends and technology have fueled a surging amount of
innovative new companies, that are increasingly outplacing dominant players in well established
industries. To keep up with such developments companies are responding with increasing amount of
innovation in product and service development. While this is a good start, it is not enough to remain
competitive, much less lead an industry. Companies need to increasingly strive for radically innovative
new products and services, that not only aim to compete, but to change the game in their industries.
RECENT EXAMPLES INCLUDE:
- the world’s largest taxi company with owning no vehicles,
- the world’s most popular media owner that creates no content,
- the most valuable retailer, which has no physical inventory,
- the world’s largest accommodation provider, which owns no real estate.
In today’s fiercely competitive markets, the winners are no longer “The Biggest” but “The
most innovative”.
The scale of the challenges we face, demands a new approach to Business models and
disruptive product development. All companies and organizations must continually find new ways
to create value for their customers.
