DANISH DESIGNCopenhagen-based designer

Chris Halstrøm created the Sommer Outdoor Collection

for Design Within Reach with the intention of emulating indoor

furniture for outdoor spaces. She was intrigued by paper-cord weav-

ing, often found on Danish indoor furniture, and was able to develop

the look in a weather-safe material. The two-seater sofa looks and sits

great with or without a seat cushion (included, but not shown). $1,895,

et Cie, was designed by contemporary Italian architect and designer Monica Armani for Tribù.
