Creating JPG files in PowerPoint
Create what you want on a slide in PPT. You can create multiple slides if
you want.
When you save the file, change the PPT/PPTX file type to JPG, GIF, or
PNG. You are done!
Creating PNG Files from Promethean or SMART
Using a Screen Capture ToolSuch As Jing
Find an image you want in the gallery of resource files. Drag it onto the
screen and resize if necessary.
Using Jing, outline the image and save it as a PNG file on your hard drive. You are ready to upload!
Downloading PNG Files Captured Online
For Images that are Not Readily Available to Download
Sometimes, you can create graphics at sites, but can’t download them
(like this graph). Use Jing to capture and save.
Downloading Images from the Internet
Sometimes you will find a picture file online that is exactly what you need.
Right click the image and choose “save image as…”
Downloading Images from DE Streaming
When downloading images from DE Streaming, usually the Medium
format will work best.
