WHYTHISEVENT?ToinitiateWomensWeek,theNewDelhihuboftheGlobal

ShapersCommunity(aninitiativeoftheWorldEconomicForum)isorganizinga

panel discussion todiscuss critical issues concerning womens safety in Delhi

andidentifypracticalmeasuresthatcanbetakentoaddressthem.Theaudience

isaselectgroupof100youthofDelhifromdiversefields.Thediscussionwould

include Q&A session with the panel. The recommendations provided by our

panelistsandparticipantswillbecompiledandsubmittedtotheChiefMinister

of Delhi. The New Delhi Hub of the Global Shapers Community will also take

ownership of at least one of the recommendations and ensure that it gets

implementedinastructuredmanneroverthenext12months.Inaddition,the

recommendationswillbepresentedtoGlobalShaperhubsacrosstheworldto

sharelessonslearnedandbestpracticesadoptedbycountriestoreducecrimesagainstwomen.
