I am Laura Nazor,

owner and manager of Lion Queen Charter agency specialized in

organizing cruises in the Adriatic.My wish is to present to you,

for detailed reading, this booklet which Ihave personally prepared

with my team in order to help you choose your cruise agent

and, ultimately, organize wonderful holidays for you.

My life:Growing up in a family involved in the hospitality industry, I have learned what it means to serve the customer and I have loved it even since my childhood days.My parents’ expectations and professional goals were met only by education and consistent work. As a part of the staff I appreciated the professional knowledge of the qualified team and absorbed it, and, finally, implemented everything I learnt through practice. Starting as a waitress in our restaurant, I progressed to become the main manager of superior catering facility regularly visited by senior officials and diplomats.

By marrying a sailor my professional life headed in a different direction, but it was still greatly intertwined with my previous work experience. Marine tourism and multi-day cruises have been my husband's family tradition for many years which seemed to me as a logical continuation of my previous work. Instead of running the restaurant, I joined them in organizing service activities at sea. Over the years our family worked hard and lived for guests who arrived on our ships through travel agencies. I absorbed all the negative comments and suggestions of passengers who would become very good friends with us through their 7-day stay. Also, I wanted our agent to hear and adopt proposals, which I considered to be of great significance, regarding the quality of passenger service. In this, we found no support. Therefore, my husband and I decided to enter the market by ourselves.That’s how Lion Queen Charter Agency was founded: first laptop, office space and our infinite patience and willingness to work unquestionably paid off.Everything I wanted to change following the tips of the passengers and the way I truly wanted my guests to be welcomed, brought me to the point where I am now - one of the leading specialists in cruise in the Adriatic.Education carried out among my employees is just as the one I personally participated in the time of my parents and our restaurant.Looking through the eyes of tourists, serving passengers just as you would wish to be served on your holiday, and loving your work are the primary requirements I expect from my team.

Family tradition continues through our 4 children:The oldest daughter Mary has just graduated in management and is officially joining the LQC team.Our daughter Luce studies at the College of Inspection and Human Resource Management in Maritime Sciences, our son Dare is now entering the Faculty of Maritime Studies and doing his summer internship as a young captain on one of our ships, and the youngest son Jozo works as an ordinary seaman every summer, as a dish washer too, and stands side by side with his father the Captain....

You are chosen to be the main organizer of your family’s or company’s holidays!Go through several elimination steps to avoid a well-known "stress" atmosphere during the collection of information.LQC team will assist you in “putting together” your vacation in a short time and without any extra nervousness.

• determine the approximate number of persons for the cruise (if you are unsure, always bear in mind to mark + / - 2 people in the query)• knowing the answer to the first question, you will easily narrow down the selection of ships: - if your company exceeds 12 passengers, request an offer for sailing ships with a minimum of 7 cabins - if you have a more intimate company and the number of passengers is below 12, it is enough to take a look at ships with only 4-6 cabins• if you are not sure about the exact date, highlight the month that would suit you best in your query: - receiving our detailed offer will make it easier to decide on an appropriate period•if you are planning on taking cheap flights before and after the cruise, and you come across affordable flights, please list them in your query: - In this way you will find your incoming and outgoing ports listed readily in our offers , tailored to your flight - it is important not to trouble yourselves regarding the route’s content: it will be created just for you!• we recommend accepting the half-board for two reasons: - spending your nights in the picturesque Dalmatian towns gives you the opportunity to enjoy their traditional dishes - if you wish to continue your journey and enjoy the delights of your ship's chef for dinner, it is sufficient to announce it to the captain in the morning

At your arrival and departure, our team waits for you. The person you arranged your holidays with via email/telephone will be your host who will introduce you to the ship and let you meet the crew. His / her contact number is available for you throughout the summer holidays with LQC agencies for all further information. You will be gladly escorted by your representative as well.

The Dalmatian coastline is very rugged and we are proud to say that we have over 1200 islands.At their first stay in Croatia, guests expect to see as much as possible within 7 days, regardless of an important detail: the nautical distance between the desired destinations.Therefore, we have put together and thoroughly elaborated over 20 LQC routes which will ensure a relaxing atmosphere throughout 7-day cruises.In case of a lease of the whole ship, we will gladly modify even our proposed routes according to your wishes. It is important that you highlight the places you wish to visit in order to make it possible for us to create the best itinerary for you, in accordance with the destination miles.

Regardless of which country or continent you come from, there is no doubt that you will be able to communicate with the crew. To make it clear, all members of our team are quite fluent in English (sometimes an incorrect grammatical sentence triggers laughs and encourages good vibe and positive energy).

Practice has showed that, even in extremely rare situations of the language barrier between the passengers and the crew, their sincere cordiality, hospitality and finally a relaxed atmosphere are quite enough for a memorable vacation.

Travelling in smaller boats – gullets, you will be served by two or four members of the crew. Together with the captain, one / two sailors and a cook will take care of you. Larger capacity ships have five to eight members of crew: captain, two sailors, operator, cook, waiter, auxiliary staff. If, in any case, you would want to feel the magic of steering the vessel, our captains will be happy to teach you about maritime profession. If you are a gourmet, share your experiences with our chef or simply swap recipes.LQC crew is easily recognizable: white polo shirts with LQC logo and an amiable smile.
