Create A Squeeze Page That Works – List Building Pointers

What constitutes to a successful squeeze page? First of all, what’s a squeeze
page?
Till now, there is still debate on the “real “definition on this term. However,
across internet marketing gurus, a squeeze page main purpose is to get a
reader's name and e-mail address.
Once they opt in, they would receive regular updates on the information that
they are interested in. and this is where the opportunity lies. Every updated
information that they receive is a chance for the internet marketer to market
his product.
People are bombarded with countless spam nowadays and to get them to fill
in their name and email address to opt in for your mails are no easy feat and
is what a lot of internet marketers are aiming for.
So, back to the ingredients for a great squeeze page . Mainly, there are two
kinds nowadays. The squeeze page with the video and the squeeze page
without it.
Nowadays, the trend observed is that it is moving towards video but having
said that, both kinds will work well.

1. It's in the headlinesMarketers have got it hard nowadays. For whichever medium that they opt
for, each one has intense competition to vie for the customer’s attention. Just
make a rough count on the number of printed advertisements in your
newspaper.
So how does one stand out to have a great landing page? What makes you
want to further read an article in a newspaper or magazine? It would be in the
headline. You have got to have an attention grabbing one and one good way
to start is to study the headlines of articles that capture your attention. Look
at the way they phrase, ignite curiosity and ask yourself what is it in the
headline that got you interested to read and know more?
2. What do I gain?Anyone selling anything would certainly list out the benefits of their
products. But how can you make yours stand out? Place your benefits in
bullet points, concise paragraphs, maybe even both. To know which works
better for you, you have to test it out.
The aim in including benefits on your page is to let the reader know what
they would receive once they are in your list, and as the title, what’s the gain
that they would be able to get from you.
Next, you can then include your call-to-action and opt-in subscription form.

3. Visual SeductionInvest in a squeeze page professionally designed by a web-designer. These
professionals would know what attracts an average web-user to stay on a
page would really help in capturing the attention of your potential customers.
Keep in mind that more doesn’t well, mean more. Think about the last time
when you were annoyed by falling snowflakes on the screen or even glittery
graphics that doesn’t aid in each in websites that are successful and see what
the similarity all of them share in.
