• LinkedIn is a business-oriented social networking service and a home to the largest professional network nowadays.

• Founded in December 14, 2002 and launched on May 5, 2003 in California by Reid Hoffman

• As of 2016, LinkedIn reports more than 400 million acquired users in more than 200 countries and territories.

Why Do I need LinkedIn?

• Users can find jobs, people and business opportunities

• Employers can list jobs and search for potential candidates.

• Job seekers can review the profile of hiring managers

• Users can follow different companies and can receive notifications

• Users can post their own photos and view photos of others to aid in identification.
