Now earlier only the aggregate of these was counted as the mark of the subject, but now the university made it mandatory to score separately in all the components thus virtually treating the components like 4 separate papers of the subject, i. e. the university has increased the no. oof papprs., The mci standards are the minimum stds required, and considering thst the university has the right to increase the limit, here it is not that the marks has been increased, instead the curriculum of the exam has been changed instead of increasing the min pass mark. That is no. of papers in the subject has been increased, and the pattern of conduct and evaluation of exams as stipulated by mci is not being followed cos of the splitting and addition of papers.
