Moog, East Aurora, New York 2011 - Present Military Aircraft Group Deputy Program Director – Tanker and Transports

Tertiary responsibility: directed the sustaining production of C-27J and C-295, established a strong working relationship with Alenia North America – the prominent outcome; closure of a long unresolved Master Purchase Agreement and substantial price increases in the case of C-295.

Moog, East Aurora, New York 2010 to 2011 Military Aircraft Group Staff Program Manager, Lockheed Martin F-35 SDD Phase

Worked with Moog leadership to establish program strategies in line with Product Line objectives, extensively utilized EVMS tools, applied Program Management tools in support of influencing outcomes, e.g., developed and managed a performance upgrade plan for all fielded CV hardware in time to support planned test flights at Lockheed Martin.

Moog, Bremen, Germany 2008 to 2010 Moog Aircraft Group, A350 On-Site Customer Support

Lived and worked in Bremen, Germany coordinating the initial post contract award of the A350 High Lift System (HLS) with all Airbus teams to achieve timely resolution of engineering changes and contractual updates, managed the analysis and implementation of engineering changes affecting the A350 HLS design including their tracking, worked with the Moog team in Torrance to determine the cost impact of engineering changes and negotiated the commercial impact with Airbus, coordinated daily and weekly tasks with Airbus and the Moog Torrance team, conducted weekly Drumbeat meetings with Airbus engineering, supported and evaluated the application of new hardware and technologies, e.g., lead the proposal phase for the A350 HLS Damper Struts and Arms, lead the proposal phase for A320 Slat and Flap actuation package – this included coordination with the Moog team and negotiation with the customer, obtained a working knowledge of the German language.

Moog, Salt Lake City, Utah 2004 to 2008 Moog Aircraft Group, Boeing 787 Sr. Program Manager

Secondary flight control program lead overseeing a $35M budget, collaborated with Moog’s Program and Engineering leadership across all Aircraft Group facilities in managing the 787 secondary flight control development and delivery of lab and flight test hardware, directed a team of 25 co-located Moog colleagues grouped to enhance communication and efficiency during development of the secondary flight controls, worked directly with Moog Supply Chain to develop the program’s supply base.

Moog, Salt Lake, Utah 1999 to 2004 Moog Aircraft Group, Challenger 300 Program Manager

On-site Montreal, Canada program lead for the secondary flight control Joint Definition Phase, secondary flight control program lead overseeing a $30M NRE budget, worked with Moog’s engineering community to develop the first complete system delivered by Moog, collaborated with manufacturing and engineering to introduce and implement concurrent engineering.

Raytheon Aircraft, Salt Lake City, Utah 1993 to 1999 Statistician

Trained Operations, Quality Engineering and Inspectors, Design Engineering, and Site Leadership in the techniques of applied statistics in the manufacturing arena, budgeted and purchased automated software and gauging allowing for real-time data collection, applied the techniques of Process based Statistical Process Control (SPC) to manufacturing, favorable results: reduced tool wear, reduced scrap, and elimination of redundant inspection.
