Our respect for natural materials means that we work only with highly skilled artisan stonemasons, cabinet makers and metalworkers, whose passion for perfection mirrors our own. Our commitment to consistency and quality leads us to source our unique range of stones directly from the quarries and our prized white Carrara marble solely from Italy’s mountainous North East. For our hardware, whether in chrome, nickel or brass, we achieve exceptional finishes by hand-working only the finest grades of brass base material. We respect the natural world too so all of our fine oak and birch timbers come from sustainable forestry before being climatised in our workshop. At Porter we believe that discernment shouldn’t cost the earth. We maintain that good design needn’t stop at the bathroom door so we strive to create spaces of calm quietude that live up to the rest of your home.

Painted Vanities

Every Porter vanity is meticulously crafted to meet three criteria; beauty, utility and durability. We create and curate a considered range of unusual breadth, both in terms of styles and proportions to provide an elegant solution for every bathroom. Each painted vanity begins with the soft neutral tone of our Moher base colour and all are available in the Porter palette of six selected colours or painted to your personal specification. Our solid birch hardwood frames and poplar multilayer panels are crafted from timbers of sustainable origin and guaranteed for life. Clients can further customise by choosing from an array of prized marble and limestone tops within our Porter materials selection.

All of our metalware is made from the highest quality brass base material, with every piece designed exclusively by Porter to enhance our full product range. We don’t believe in adornment without purpose. Our polished chrome and silver nickel finishes are plated

then hand worked and polished for an exceptional tactile feel. Our polished and

antique brass finishes are achieved through time and skill. Polishing the raw material

draws out the purity and beauty of the brass while, in contrast, our antique brass finish

makes a feature of the raw material to reveal its essence through its organic imperfections.
