Wrap the threads around the cord. When starting a new colour stitch the thread to the cord to secure.

Continue to wrap the threads. Stitch the thread to the cord to secure when you have finished each colour.

Wrap the gold thread over the orange section of the necklace.

Fold the threads in half and tie gold threads through the loop. Tie shade 00065 around the tassel. Trim the ends. Repeat.

Repeat steps 6 and 7. Replace shade 00063 with shade 00065.

Attach the tassels to the necklace. Using a needle pull the loose ends through the tassel and trim.

Place over the necklace. Wrap each tassel with gold thread and tie to secure.

Trim the threads.

Wrap 3m of shade 00063 around 3 fingers and cut the threads at the bottom.

Wrap 6m of shade 01089 around 4 fingers and cut the threads at the bottom. Repeat to make 3 tassels.

Cut the threads as directed. Knot the end and plait.

Pull through the loops and tie.

Wrap the thread around 6cm of the cord. Fold the cord over to form a loop and continue to wrap the thread.
