1. The Problem

• Sunday 08.05.2011 CP2000ZX: Green H stripes on screen;

RED Test Pattern shows horizontal stripes; GREEN and BLUE Test Patterns ok;

• FTT-HU in the cinema swapped formatter cables between RED/GREEN -> TI Light Engine RED Satellite damaged;

2.1 What?

ASSY Liquid Cooling -003-001561-02;

Needed Christie CP2000ZX parts were:

ASSY Waterblocks003-101178-01                  

ASSY Light Engine 1.2 FPGA(Satellite Formatters 015-100187-03)003-101048-01

Spare Light Engineincompatible connectors for cables to FFIB -only one Christie P\N communicated throughout the comm. Trail & matching Projector S\N.

2.2 Why?

Difficulty to identify some parts in regard to Christie P\N (parts list – service manual)

2.3 How was it solved?Direct contact - phone calls with Christie tech. support;Exchange of pictures compared with Projector S\N & P\N ;

• Issue still not solved yet (2 weeks Black Screen). FTT-HU onsite visit 2011.05.24

–> swap Light Engines & install new Waterblocks Assy.

6. Suggestions for Improvements

1. Accurate encoding in CData: Complex - Screen - Installed material - Contacts;

2. Shared DOC-NOC comm. channels – Shared support mail box;3. XDC / FTT –Tech. Support + -Logistics

knowledge improvement about parts identification in regard to Manufacturers P\N (parts list – service manuals - pictures etc.);

4. FTT-HU 3rd line accessibility (mobile phone; e-mail boxes;)5. FTT-HU must not bypass 2nd line to contact Manufacturer
