JUDGE ANA MARIA PANDO served as a Miami-Dade County Judge where she presided since January 2001 Judge Pando handled County Criminal cases in the Hialeah Branch Courthouse processing in excess of 150 cases a day Previously in Hialeah Judge Pando presided over County Civil cases including small claims collection actions landlord-tenant cases and general civil litigation She has also acted as an Acting Circuit Court Judge over domestic violence matters from 2004 to the present Judge Pando was assigned to the Miami-Dade County Court Criminal Division from January 2001 to June of 2004 as her first assignment as County Court Judge She has tried approximately 120 jury trials 60 criminal 60 civil 1450 bench trials 450 criminal and 1000 civil trials She is currently employed as Senior Counsel in Alvarez Carbonell l Feltman Jimenez amp Gomezl PL specializing in all areas of civil and criminal litigation in the state and federal courtsl in municipal and local law and in governmental consulting and lobbying before municipal state and federal bodies

A native of Miami-Dade County Judge Pando graduated Cum Laude from Barry University and received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Miami School of Law

JUDGE ANA MARIA PANDO served as a Miami-Dade County Judge where she presided since January 2001 Judge Pando handled County Criminal cases in the Hialeah Branch Courthouse processing in excess of 150 cases a day Previously in Hialeah Judge Pando presided over County Civil cases including small claims collection actions landlord-tenant cases and general civil litigation She has also acted as an Acting Circuit Court Judge over domestic violence matters from 2004 to the present Judge Pando was assigned to the Miami-Dade County Court Criminal Division from January 2001 to June of 2004 as her first assignment as County Court Judge She has tried approximately 120 jury trials 60 criminal 60 civil 1450 bench trials 450 criminal and 1000 civil trials She is currently employed as Senior Counsel in Alvarez Carbonell l Feltman Jimenez amp Gomezl PL specializing in all areas of civil and criminal litigation in the state and federal courtsl in municipal and local law and in governmental consulting and lobbying before municipal state and federal bodies

A native of Miami-Dade County Judge Pando graduated Cum Laude from Barry University and received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Miami School of Law

Judge Pando began her law career as a specially appointed Public Defender In 1991 she joined the Miami City Attorneys Office and was assigned to the Miami Police Department as Police Legal Advisor In 1999 Judge Pando became the Assistant City Attorney responsible for code enforcement matters prosecuting violators before the Code Enforcement Board

In additionl Judge Pando is active in the community participating in Town-Hall Meetings geared towards educating the Miami-Dade County community concerning the court system She consistently partiCipates at community outreach events such as Law Days

Constitution Day at Miami-Dade College Red Ribbon Weeki and career mentorship events at local schools and universities

Judge Pando is a member of the State of Floridas Conference of County Judges and the Cuban American Bar Association Judge Pando has also served as Board Counsel to the Miami Commission on the Status of Women was Board Member to the Metro-Miami Action Planl and is a founding member of the Miami-Dade County Teen Court
