• Guest list must be provided to the venue for contact tracing with all guest details. This form will be available to complete at the resort, or guests can complete this prior to arriving. Details required include:• First name• Last night• Email address• Phone number

• This information will be securely stored, not used for any other purpose, deleted after a minimum of 56 days and will be made available to public health o cials on request.

• Any additional guests attending ceremony and/or reception that are not included on the guest list will need to provide their detail on a contact tracing register before entering the venue.

• All guests have an obligation to stay at home while displaying any symptoms such as fever or coughing. The venue has the right to refuse service and insist that anyone with these symptoms leaves the premises.

• The resort is following a Queensland Government approved COVID Safe Plan and therefore have limits on the number of guests allowed in each venue.• Capacities are subject to having 4 square metres per patron on average.• This includes all areas of a venue including indoor and outdoor areas.

• The resort must ensure social distance between tables, with a minimum of 1.5m between patrons seated at di erent tables.

• Joining tables or swapping of assigned seating at tables is not permitted.• Members of the same household are not required to physically distance and it is

advised they are seated at the same table.• Hand sanitizers and social distancing oor markers will be provided by the venue to

encourage patrons to practise good health and hygiene.

• Wedding ceremonies must adhere to all social distancing requirements, including having 4 square metres per patron on average and no more than 100 guests, regardless of venue size.

• Seating for ceremony will be placed apart practically, however immediate family members will be allowed to sit together.

• Guests are required to use separate doors for entry and exit, if practicable, to avoid contact between people.

• Once venue is open, guests will be encouraged to take their seats, with no more than 15mins of pre-event mingling to occur prior to commencement.

• Pre-dinner drinks or canapes are permitted if seated.• Any guests who choose to leave the venue to smoke or to take phone calls will be

required to practice social distancing whilst doing so.

• Guests must be seated at all times whilst eating and drinking.• Menus should be disposable after use. • Cakes must be prepared in-house or via certi ed supplier. Homemade cakes are not

permitted.• It is recommended that a separate cake be provided for ceremonial cutting as cake

used for ceremonial cutting cannot be served to guests• Table service only for all beverages. No bar service or waiting at the bar. Cashless

payments accepted only.• Outdoor service will require same table distance requirements and booking/tracking

requirements as indoor.• No bu ets or shared ‘serve yourself’ sections such as salad bars or lolly bu ets are

permitted, unless a resort team member is serving all food (canteen style). Guests must remain socially distant. Should this not be suitable, coupels are encouraged to contact the Weddings Executive to recontract to a plated menu.

• Table service only for all beverages. No bar service or waiting at the bar.• Payment to be made via contactless card payment only e.g. Tap&Go, ApplePayetc.

• Dancing is only allowed for the wedded couple and their parents. No other dancing is permitted. Example – a couple may perform a ‘ rst dance’ for their wedding guests, but the guests may not participate in dancing on the dance oor.

• Live Music or DJs are permitted provided they comply with existing state regulations relating to live music.

• Singers should maintain at least 3 metres physical distance from other people whilst singing.

• Entertainment that involves sharing props is not permitted.• Microphones and microphones stands must be cleaned after use during speeches or

karaoke. UPDATE: from 1 November 2020• Up to 40 people at one time may dance at a wedding.

• Where BYO items are accepted, hard surfaces must be wiped clean and disinfected before they are used.

• Brides & Grooms are asked to consider the appropriateness of party favours. Where possible party favours will be sanitised prior to placing on the table.

• Food or beverage items are discouraged as party favours.

• All photography should adhere to social distancing requirements, note that members of the same household are not required to physically distance.

• The use of photo booths are permitted, under the management of the chosen supplier.
