• Most countries have shut their borders to all short term visitors• (certain caveats may apply)

• Subset of countries have list of countries that are “banned”

• Those that haven’t generally require 14 day quarantine/isolation• Varies from home/hotel/quarantine facilities

• Some countries have capabilities for COVID-19 testing in the private sector(Malaysia, Thailand, HKG…. )

• Physician evaluation still required

• Most countries regulate COVID-19 testing tightly and one must fulfil suspect criteria

• Generally care and risk triaging is according to medical condition and not nationality/race

• No trend of withholding of treatment or conservation of resources seen

• For non-COVID-19 case, non-locals may only be able to access private facilities

• Limitations to access to care is due to COVID-19 situation and not National vs Non-nationals situation
