Dear Hiring Manager, I am a graduate student of UWM in Department of Computer Science. I am currently looking for internship opportunity at your organization. I have a great passion for Computer Science and want to grow professionally and technically every day. My primary area of interests are Computer Programming, Analytics, Big Data and Data Science. I love challenging work and always look forward to learn new things. I have three years of professional work experience and in that I have worked in quite variety of fields of Computer Science and was part of different roles and responsibilities over years. I believe I would be a valuable addition to your team and can contribute to the financial and organizational success of your company. As my resume indicates, I have more than three years of progressive experience in the field of Computer Science. I started my career as an intern at IBM where I worked with SQL/PL-SQL/Triggers/Cursors using Oracle 10G as the platform on a hospital management project. The project was mainly focused on design, gathering and retrieval data. Later, in the year of 2011, I had joined Hewlett Packard as an Intern and there I worked on a online shopping portal using technologies of J2EE,JDBC,JavaScript, HTML ,CSS with collaboration of JBoss and Weblogic as Maven dependencies.My Bachelor’s degree Capstone Project was “Online matrimonial website” using J2EE, JDBC,JavaScript, CSS,HTML and Oracle 10G as the backend database. After completion of my bachelor degree I joined I-Tech Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Engineer. My job role involved exploiting the technologies of Java , JSP , JDBC , Oracle 10g,HTML,CSS on the project ‘Emirates NBD Bank- BankNET’ which mainly focused on development and enhancement of frontend and backend applications as per requirements. In the year of 2013, I had joined Astringent Pvt. Ltd. as an Intern where I was assigned to a project requiring development of a general purpose web based music library exploiting the technologies of PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS. After completion of my internship in Astringent, I joined Codez IT Solution Pvt. Ltd. as Web Developer. There I was assigned to the project for developing ‘kolbstone.com’ by exploiting the technologies of PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS and using Dreamweaver framework. On 2014, I got an offer from IBM India which I consider to be a stepping stone in my career so far and a huge achievement within 1 and ½ years of my graduation. I joined IBM as a Data Specialist where I was given a professional training on Data Warehousing, Data Mining and Business Intelligence. The successful completion of the training landed me in the Business Intelligence team as a B.I. Application Developer for DHL-NFE Project where my job role involved gathering, analysis of data, design data model, retrieving data and develop reporting application for the client by exploiting the technologies of COGNOS, SQL and Java Script. In November 2014, I got the opportunity to work as a part of prestigious ‘H3G B.I. Services’ team in I.B.M. Here I have worked in agile methodology and assigned to various projects using the technologies DB2-SQL , IBM Info Sphere ETL-SQW , DataStage , Linux. My job role was mainly focusses on ETL Application development and required analysis of user requirements, design and build or modify ETL job in optimized fashion, analysis of data flow of operations and scheduling jobs accordingly, unit testing and documentation. I have recently done one project named “Automatic Insult Detection” under the supervision of Dr. Susan McRoy, using the concept of Natural Language Processing and technology of Java, and successfully secured 95/100 as a part of project evaluation. I am a detail oriented and self-motivated person and with excellent organizational and communication skills, outstanding work ethic and the ability to work well in both in team-oriented and self-directed environments, I am positioned to exceed your expectations. I always prefer to get involved in the work, take responsibility and maintain accountability. Ability to remain calm, composed and focused even in an adverse situation is one of my strengths.
