Working with you, I know will be enlightening, educational, fun and exciting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES I have displayed a Day-to-Day leadership and supervision of administration and client service team. I have displayed administrative support with a high level of professional customer service and cash management expertise thro ughout my position of working as the Practice Manager of a small health company. I have managed my staff of 25 therapists and medical professionals as well as operate the front counter as the receptionist, providing a high level of administrative support within a multidisciplinary team ensuring business needs are met to the highest standards. I have a timely, high quality services in word processing, spread sheeting and data input in relation to financial activities, record keeping, travel arrangements and collation of data. As a front line administrator I prioritised tasks, was responsible that work was completed by the staff within the designated timefr ames and was the Practice Manager of the clinic. This included tasks such as completing staff weekly pays, the daily banking, month ly staff progress reports, weekly stock control, daily laundry runs, daily cleaning, maintenance of the clinic and hourly email checks. I have maintained administrative and office procedures and systems to ensure the provision of quality administrative support services through managing workload appropriately. Working on front line reception allowed me to inhabit a high level of cash handling skills, performing confidential, effectiv e and efficient secretarial and administrative support by using the software package 'Shortcuts'. I provided administrative support , including record keeping, management activities and quality reports and correspondence to the General Manager. As Manager I exercised judgment and description to ensure all staff was performing to the highest quality in customer service, professionalism and the treatments and services that the clinic offered. I have grown accustomed to learning new computer terminology and learning it really fast. I have knowledge of Excel, Word, Email, Intranet and the Internet. I also have knowledge in both Windows and Mac Operating Systems. While working at the Endeavour College of Natural Health, I was made Workplace, Health and Safety Officer. This entailed the responsibly of attending Workplace Health and Safety meetings on a regular basis and keeping up to date with the latest safety procedures. Working as a Practice Manager for the Holistic Health Centre and as an Acting Manager for Ashley & Martin, I learnt to develop a full understanding of training and staff inductions. I also developed the knowledge to perform staff interviews, staff progress reviews and performance coaching. I have experience in the effective operation of Medicare and private health fund payments and invoicing of cash and credit facilities. I have allocated, prioritised and performed tasks in accordance with the Holistic Health procedures and financial and administrative requirements. I processed the clients’ payments and completed the banking on a daily basis. I also processed the staff wages , holidays and working roster each week. While working in the health industry I have acquired a clear understanding of the Qld Health Code of Conduct to ensure responses and inquiries from internal and external clients are met ensuring confidentially is maintained. While working at the 'Holistic Health Centre', I kept all clients files confidential and maintained those files to the strictest standards. Maintaining those files regularly was needed due to the clients’ medical information, and this needed to adhere to the relevant policies, procedures, standards, legislative requirements and work unit guidelines. While working as the clinic co-ordinator at the Endeavour College of Natural Health, I worked with natural and western remedies prescribed by doctors for a wide range of health issues. I understood that dealing with any such prescribed medication or controlled drug gave me the responsibility to know, understand and comply with the complete professional conduct and statutory legislation fo r prescribed medications. For the past few years I have been a full time stay-at-home Mother. Time has gone by so quickly and now I am looking for employment. I am an outgoing, positive and honest employee and take pride in my professional presentation. I have strong time management skills, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and have demonstrated the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team enviro nment and independently and am able to multi-task and am hands on when necessary. My determination and drive means that I am not satisfied unless I give 100% to whatever challenge I take on. I possess a high level of face-to-face and telephone customer service along with excellent problem solving skills. I have an eagerness to learn and am able to absorb information and new technology quickly and accurately. I am easily motivated and show initiative in the workplace. I have a three and a half years experience in working in a speciality medical or health centre. I have demonstrated innovative leadership skills and knowledge throughout my roles as Manager and Acting Manager for the Holistic Health Centre and Ashley & Martin respectively, showing great problem-solving skills. I have started a course in a Diploma of Human Resources and Management studying online with MCI. I feel with this course, it will expand my knowledge and skills within the Administration/Management domain.
