Through this internship I gained experiences in seeing how consistent marketing and communication was integral to community development. As a member of my sorority, Delta Zeta, I was granted the opportunity to expand my leadership abilities on the BGSU campus. Through my membership as a Delta Zeta I gained the ability to foster positive relationship between an organization and administrators on campus and to execute and plan events accordingly. I was able to maintain multiple positions in the sorority, and among those positions I was able to implement a statewide conference for more than 700 attendees and develop the first annual Black and White Gala philanthropy event. Additionally, through my pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in public relations I am educated in the discipline of building mutually beneficial relationships between an organization and its publics. With this knowledge I have developed a foundation of effective communication and marketing skills, which can benefit your company’s drive to improve learning and to inspire users to be better. rough my public relations and marketing experiences, I developed skills that enabled me to simultaneously work on multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines, and develop interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
