I am eager to apply my business acumen and experience at an innovative and nurturing firm where I will be able to tackle key issues and rapidly build my skill set. I began my college career at ABC University knowing I was interested in business and intending to concentrate in Economics like a large number of my peers. Ultimately, I chose to concentrate in Finance and focus my summers on sharpening my business skills. In so doing, I learned and honed the below-listed skills that have helped me to think outside of the box and excel in the work environment. 1. Getting behind the numbers: As President of Events Club, I analyzed the target markets for our events not only by demographic but also by curricular and extracurricular interest in an effort to make sure that we were simultaneously ensuring a 100% positive experience for our event-goers, managing the image of our organization and creating value-added networks for YOURCITY’s college age demographic in keeping with the charter of our organization. 2. Dedication to problem-solving with maximum efficiency: As an analyst this past summer in the Investment Analysis division of WidgetCo, I shortened time spent on comparable property analysis by 50% while increasing output by 100%. In addition, I automated the submission of Capital Papers on authorized deals to the database I compiled thus saving time for the incoming project manager.

Mr.Mickleson,

Please accept this letter and enclosed resume for the position of Analyst with WidgetCo.

3. Persistence and willingness to learn: At 15, I taught myself to research and analyze the capital markets, identifying several high growth sectors. Shortly after, I began making investments in the fledgling online advertising sector just at the beginning of the Web 2.0 boom. After several years I was able to close the account up 39 points in Net Asset Value.

I have been incredibly grateful for the learning experiences that I have had thus far and I am excited about the prospect of learning more, adding to my abilities and hopefully making a significant contribution to your office.

Sincerely,

Charles Jobseeker
