These traits are essential for successful work in today’s information technology dependent age. These traits are also something I have worked to develop and excel at over my professional career. The Information Systems department is an environment where these traits are required for providing a positive experience and effective technological solutions to the internal and external customers served. I am very excited to explore the different opportunities that your company has available. I have received training through both Emporia State University and Flint Hills Technical College in Information Systems and Network Technology. Coupled with my customer service experience and training from companies like Dell Computers, Sears, and Staples makes me a uniquely qualified candidate for many positions that you may have available. Also, at my current position with Emporia State University, I have vast experience working with people in various levels of educations and positions as well as building relationships across departments. This position requires someone that understands the business side of the team as well as the technical side. This is something I enjoy doing and have had significant success in. Before I finish this letter, I also want to let you know that I am not your average college graduate. I am in my mid-30s, married, and have a family. I have been the technology field in some capacity for over 15 years. Upon graduation, I will have two degrees, an Associates of Applied Science in Network Technology and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business with a concentration in Management Information Systems. So, while being a recent graduate, I come to my future employer with a vast wealth of knowledge and experience. But more than that, with a desire to learn, grow, and become better than I am today. Attached to this letter you will find my resume that includes my work history, professional references, as well as my community service and civic engagements. My email address is [email protected] and my cell phone number is 620-794-8009. Please feel free to use either method should you need to contact me. I look forward to the meeting you all on Monday. Sincerely, Stephen Stone
