My name is Tam, I’m a Queensland University of Technology student aspiring to be a big time manager or human resource manager but before I graduate I want to build a decent amount of experience in the work force. The reason I want to do this is to become the person that will be on the other side of the desk hiring the new generation of employees knowing what I would gain from this job.

This job allows me to work with experienced employees and join a team that can teach me the knowledge of the inner workings of a successful business as well as gives me the opportunity to take action in real situations in the job I aspire to achieve.

I feel that I reach all the necessary aspects noted on the advertisement from being a university student with a flexible schedule and having the customer service skills, enthusiasm and willingness to learn the workings of the store to become successful in the profession.

Shown in my resume are my details in my experiences in my long term volunteer work at Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể (a Vietnamese youth group) and contract work experiences at the Golden King Bakery and a retail phone store. Also shown are my many skill sets, education and current status as a university student studying business majoring in management, minoring in human resources and under taking multiple marketing electives.

My goals are to gain a job that will lead to permanent employment be it gaining experience from a temporary job or succeeding in a permanent one.
