Tuesday, October 25, 2011 Dear Recruiters/ Visitors, Currently, I am serving as a CSIR Pool Scientist in area of chromatin remodeling in breast cancer at ILS after a 6 yr postdoctoral training from India and USA. Now, I am looking for permanent faculty position. Thus, I am writing this mail to you for your kind review and favor. In brief, during my Ph.D. at Banaras Hindu University, I have conducted basic research focused on the role of herbal extract in macrophage function in inflammation and atherosclerosis. After the completion of my doctoral degree I have received postdoctoral training from India and USA in various fields such as signaling in epigenetics, alternative splicing in neuronal cells, gene function and regulation of aging. Overall, I conducted research work independently and associated with successful completion of several research projects using state- of-the-art methodologies in cellular and molecular biology. I am acquainted with the molecular techniques associated with RNA, DNA and proteins research. The research techniques I used, include cell culture, siRNA and antisense oligos transfection, nucleic acid and protein isolation, gene microarray analysis, reverse transcription and quantitative real- time PCR, cloning, recombinant protein expression, differential display-PCR, DNA sequencing, Western and Northern blot analysis, and DNA-protein interactions (EMSA and super shift assay). I am an organized, goal oriented; self motivated research scientist and willing to train the Indian Student in area of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as a faculty. I would appreciate for an interview opportunity to discuss about my background, qualification and expertise that may fit for the position. Thank you,
