COVENANT OF PURITYGod created relationships and unity. Within unity, God designed man and woman to be in a lifelong bond with each other, and Himself. This is known as covenant. Through this covenant, families were created to remain in relationship with one another, and with God, as His message of hope to the world.

Family CovenantAs a family, we declare God is our most valuable relationship. We hold His word as truth in our lives. Our family commits to use God’s word as an unshakable foundation in our everyday conduct. Today, we commit our thoughts, words, and actions to Him.

We acknowledge we are created in His image. Through Jesus, every member of our family is made complete. We are strong with God in our midst. Each member of our family carries the same power within us that raised Christ from the dead.

We will not let disunity drive us away from God or each other. We have been set free from sin, death and Satan through Jesus.

We invite Jesus into every area we have hurt others and ask for forgiveness. We also invite Jesus into the places we have been hurt by others. Today, we forgive as Christ forgave us. By His sacrifice, we now call our family’s hands clean and forgiven from all sin.

We declare our feet will not be led astray from The Lord’s commandments. Today, we recognize our family has been called out of the darkness of sinful ways. We will draw in virtue through our eyes and ears, and what we talk about. As a family, we pledge to refrain from ALL sexual immorality. We will not let temptations override our decisions. We close the door to every sin that involves slavery, pornography, indecency, vulgarity, unclean talk and all forms of abuse—sexual, verbal, or physical.

We are putting the enemy on notice: He is done infiltrating our family to rob and destroy. We close the door to our hearts, minds and home and declare the return of all he has stolen.

Devil, you no longer have authority or influence in our home and the lives of our children, and our children’s children. Our family revokes permission to the enemy’s tactics, which today is made known.

Our house is Your jurisdiction, Jesus. We will not let impure images reach our family through phones, tablets, computers, television or any printed material. We put these distractions down so they will not become addictions.

We commit to being a family that does not remain silent about sexual predators and those who pervert God’s covenant. Corrupt ways are no longer tolerated in our lives.

Our family is on an assignment of overwatch. We are committed to protecting each other. We are no longer sleeping fools, nor ignorant to God’s direction. We are wide awake and see through the lens of Jesus.

Today, we step into our new destiny to endorse God’s word and impart it into each other. Our family embraces the honor of being called daughter and son to King Jesus.

Today, we embrace FREEDOM. In Jesus name, AMEN.
