Court Clerk Mobile Connect is a free application provided by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County to make it
convenient for the public to access court record information while on-the-go using mobile devices.
Getting Started
To install Court Clerk Mobile Connect on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, visit the iTunes App Store and download
Court Clerk Mobile Connect.
To install Court Clerk Mobile Connect on an Android phone, visit Google Play on your device and download Court Clerk
Mobile Connect.
System Requirements
iOS v4.0 or higher (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch); Android v2.3.2 or higher (mobile phone only)
iTunes Account for iOS, Gmail account for Android
Internet connection to access data through Court Clerk Mobile Connect, including Wi-Fi and/or mobile carrier 3G/4G or
higher network.
Storage permission on your device is required for the Save your case feature to work. (See page 9.)

Touching the badge on the device’s main screen opens the application to the main menu.
Search Access to three different types of searches: Electronic Docket Search Traffic Ticket Search Court Call Search
Facilities Access to location, hours of operation and contact information for the different court facilities.
Fees Access to the fee schedule
About Us Information about the Clerk’s Office and the Clerk of the Circuit Court
Contact Us General contact information
Website Link to the main website
Privacy Policy Information about the privacy policy associated with using the mobile application.

There are three (3) types of case searches that can be performed using the Court Clerk Mobile Connect application:
Electronic Docket Case Search – this searches our electronic docket for all CIVIL case types. This excludes any
criminal case searches.
Traffic Ticket Search – this searches our traffic ticket database for moving violations where either the case is still
pending and/or the traffic ticket violation has not been settled. Traffic tickets that have been PAID may no longer
appear in this search.
Court Call Search – this searches our court call roster for upcoming court events to be held within the next five (5)
business days.
In order to perform searches, the device will need to access the Clerk of the Circuit Court’s data service via the Internet using
the either Wi-Fi or the mobile carrier’s network.
An alert message will appear if either a network connection is not found, or the data service is unreachable.

From the main search screen touch Electronic Docket Case Search.
From the search type screen touch Search by case number.
Enter a case number in the text box. Case numbers should contain either the 4- or 2-digit year, followed by the divisional code, and a numeric series. Touch the Start Search button to begin.

From the main search screen touch Electronic Docket Case Search.
From the search type screen touch Search by LAST name.
Enter a last name in the text box. Select if the results should be sorted by name or case number. Touch the Start Search button to begin.

Selecting from the results of the Electronic Docket Case Search The application will use the device’s internet connection to perform the request. This may take a moment based on the
device’s connectivity.
Tips & Hints
Filter this list by keyword(s)… The displayed search results can be filtered by entering a keyword in the filter box, such as a division, a first name or case type. When paging through the results, the filter will remain active until removed. To remove the filter, click the in the filter box. Using the Back button After selecting a specific case to view
detail information, touching the button will return you to the previous search results. This screen may take a moment to REFRESH in order to capture the most recent results.
The results from the search request will be displayed. Select a case to view detailed information. If performing a name search, only 50 records will appear at a time. Scroll to the bottom of the list to view the next or previous list of results.
Detailed information about the case will be displayed organized in three sections: Summary, Party Info, and Case Activities.
Click on the + to expand the section.

Saving an Electronic Docket Case
A case can be saved for future access by clicking the Save this case button that appears on the case detail page. Basic case information is now stored in your device’s storage. Storage permission on your device is required for this feature.
To view saved cases, from the Search Type screen, touch the View My Saved Cases button.
A list of your saved cases will be displayed. Select a case to view its detail information. A saved case can be removed from the list by clicking on the next to that case.

From the main search screen touch Traffic Ticket Search.
From the search type screen touch Search by traffic ticket number.
Enter a ticket number in the text box as it appears on your ticket without dashes or spaces. Touch the Start Search button to begin.

From the main search screen touch Traffic Ticket Search.
From the search type screen touch Search by traffic ticket number.
Enter a driver’s license number in the text box as it appears on your ticket without dashes or spaces. Touch the Start Search button to begin.

Tips & Hints
Why can’t I find my ticket? If the ticket does not appear in the results, click on the “Why can’t I find my ticket?” link to view help dialog box: “Electronic ticket data is only available for tickets issued within the last 12-months and meet one of the following criteria: There is a balance due for payment on the ticket or case. There has been activity on the ticket within the last 3 months. The ticket is scheduled for a future court date. Note: It takes seven (7) to twenty-one (21) days for a ticket to be received from the police agency and entered into the Clerk’s system. Once a ticket has been paid, it will no longer appear in our searchable database.”
Using the Back button After viewing a specific ticket, touching

From the main search screen touch Court Call Search.

Detailed information about the court event for the requested case number is displayed.

Tips & Hints
Why can’t I find my case? If the case does not appear in the results, click on the “Why can’t I find my case?” link to view help dialog box: “Court call schedule includes data for today and for the next 5 business days. Please be advised that not all cases may have been entered onto the automated court call schedule. You may also perform a search of the electronic docket. It is the litigant’s responsibility to track his/her case and appear in court on the dates set by the judge. This tool seeks to merely assist the litigant in that process.”

The Facilities section provides location, hours of operation and contact information for each of the Clerk’s office facilities
In order to view the most current contact information, the device will need to access the Clerk of the Circuit Court’s data
service via the Internet using the either Wi-Fi or the mobile carrier’s network. An alert message will appear if either a network
connection is not found, or the data service is unreachable.
From the main search screen select a division or courthouse to view.
From the search type screen touch Search by case number.
Displays a Google map for the
location of the facility.
Initiates the mobile phone to
make a phone call to the facility.
Launches the mobile device’s
email client to send an email to
the facility.

The Fees section provides an up-to-date fee schedule of court costs.

The Clerk of the Circuit Court’s main website will launch in a browser within your device’s window – leaving the mobile app. To return back to the mobile you will have to close the browser window, and launch the app from your device’s main screen.
