Class Goals:
The primary goal of learning a foreign language is communication. To achieve this goal, students will be expected to participate in reading, writing, speaking and listening in the target language.
Students will acquire knowledge of the culture of the countries that speak the target language.
Connections will be made to other disciplines by using those content areas as context for language learning.
Students will learn more about their native language by making comparisons and contrasts to the target language.
Students will use their new language beyond the classroom by seeking ways to experience it in their own communities.
