Mission Statement

The mission of Kingdom Vision School of Ministry is to raise up sons and daughters who are prepared to spread revival across the nation. We aspire to do this in three methods. Education, Impartation, and Activation.

KVSOM is a place to train men and women called to ministry and those interested in becoming better equipped to serve their local church.

We offer academic excellence and methods that will train you to maximize your leadership skills and attitude to reach your Kingdom Vision.

Course Descriptions

Victorious Christianity. A study on the spiritual foundation of the life of every

believer including repentance, faith, water baptism, baptism of the Holy Spirit, forgiveness, and

other basic Christian disciplines.

Discipleship. A study of the basic disciplines of the Christian life intended to

strengthen and deepen the believer producing a true, reproducing disciple of Christ.

Prayer & Devotion. An exploration of two key disciplines in the life of

every believer coupled with a study of the basic tools and methods for studying the Bible

particularly as it pertains to the personal devotional life of the believer.

Christian Doctrine 101. A study of some of the major doctrines of the Bible including the

doctrines of Scripture, God, Man, Sin and Satan. These studies become the basis for

establishing a biblical world view.

Christian Doctrine 102. A continuation of Basic Doctrine 1 covering the doctrine of Christ,

Angels, the Holy Spirit, the Church, Heaven, Hell and Eschatology. These studies become the

basis for establishing a biblical world view.

Life Management 1 – Discovering Destiny. This study is designed to lead the

student on a journey of discovering God’s will and purpose for his or her life and how that life fits into God’s eternal purpose.

Life Management 2 – Achieving Destiny. This study focuses on managing the

resources of one’s life to achieve one’s destiny. It includes goal setting, organization, and time

and money management.

Life Management 3 – Work and Destiny. This study focuses on how our life’s work

or career can lead to living a life of significance, glorifying God and fulfilling God’s agenda or

eternal purpose.

Social Roles/Relationships. A study exploring our relationships with God,

government, parents and peers with a special emphasis on cultivating friendship relationships,

dating, courtship and marriage.

Family Issues. A survey of family relationships, roles and responsibilities from a

biblical viewpoint including marriage, divorce, parenting, grand-parenting, blended families and

the ministry of the family.

Theology of Worship. Building on theological, biblical and historical foundations, students will explore both the function and framework of Christian worship as it is lived out in a particular context. Students will be equipped to reflect theologically on the scope, shape and practices of worship and apply that as a foundation for shaping and being shaped by the ministry of word and sacrament in the context of the community gathered and the community sent.

Knowing God’s Voice. This course explains how God speaks to man and how to find God's will for your life. Guidelines are given on knowing the voice of God and determining His will. The pattern of God's will and Scriptural examples of how God reveals His will are discussed.

Women a Biblical Profile. This course summarizes all the Bible teaches regarding women. It is not only a study guide, but a reference tool as it lists all the passages about women and references to all the individual women mentioned in the Word of God. Evangelism. A study designed to equip the believer with tools needed to become more effective in communicating the Gospel and building bridges to those who do not know

Christ.

Old Testament Survey. A survey of all the Old Testament books, emphasizing their

historic setting and thematic content. Each book is highlighted for its relationship to Christ and to

its special contribution to the rest of Scripture.

New Testament Survey. A survey of all of the New Testament books, emphasizing

their historical settings and thematic content. Each book is highlighted for its relationship to

Christ and the Church and to its special contribution to the rest of Scripture.

Synoptic Gospels. The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke are the earliest surviving accounts of the life and ministry of Jesus. This course will provide a detailed examination of these texts, paying special attention to the distinctive portrait of Jesus that each gospel presents. Some topics of study will include (but are not limited to): various theories regarding the so-called “Synoptic Problem”; the relationship of the Synoptics to non-canonical texts; and a general introduction to critical methods in Gospel analysis such as literary, redaction, socio-historical, and tradition-critical.

Life of Christ/Gospels. A study of the life, ministry, miracles and teachings of the

Jesus Christ taken from parallel gospel accounts.

Knowing the Doctrines of the Bible. Knowing the Doctrines of the Bible (Systematic Theology)" explains what the Bible teaches about God (Theology), Jesus (Christology), the Holy Spirit (Pneumatology), Humanity (Anthropology), Salvation (Soteriology), Grace vs Law, the Church (Ecclesiology), Church Leadership, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Healing, Angels (Angelology), the Enemy (Demonology), Christian Morals (Moral Theology), Prayer, Worship, Death (Thanatology), and the Second Coming (Eschatology)

Ecclesiology 101. A study of the local church in God’s eternal purpose including a

practical emphasis on the biblical pattern, the structure and the ministries that make up and

contribute to the success of the local church today.

The Person & Work of Holy Spirit. A study of the person and work of the Holy Spirit with special emphasis on the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit as they pertain to the individual believer.

Ministering to Personal Needs. A study dedicated to equipping the believer to

minister to people in personal areas including salvation, water baptism, baptism of the Spirit,

healing and basic counseling.

Effective Speech Communication. This course is designed to equip the student with principles that will

help him or her to become more confident and effective in public speaking.

Walking in Present Truth. A of the biblical principles of restoration as they

apply to the history of God’s people, the future of the Church and God’s unique work in the life

of every believer

Acts of the Apostles. A study of the Book of Acts with special attention given to the

growth and development of the Early Church and to the pattern that Paul provides for modern

leadership ministry.

Romans: The Doctrine of God. An analytical and exegetical study of Romans, giving attention to the great doctrinal issues of condemnation, justification, sanctification, the place of Israel, and practical Christian living.

Introduction to Leadership. The course will examine topics such as: understanding leadership; recognizing leadership traits; engaging people's strengths; understanding philosophy and styles; attending to tasks and relationships; developing leadership skills; creating a vision. Leadership A study of the biblical qualifications for leadership, important keys to

success as a leader and timeless leadership principles that serve as a basis for a person’s

ministry as a leader.

Purpose & Destiny of the Church. A detailed study of the local church in God’s plan, the structure and order in the New Testament church and the ministries of the local church and their functions, and the direction the church is heading.

Vision and Values. A leadership development course focusing on defining,

developing, and implementing core values, vision and appropriate strategies in growing a

church or building a business.

Sociology of Marriage & Family Life. This looks at the family, its structures, and functions. There is an emphasis on the sociological theory and research on marriage, kinship systems, components of mate selection, intimate relationships, and child-rearing practices. The family is examined in historical perspective and in relation to social change.

Biblical Counseling. A study of the biblically based principles and techniques of

counseling and their application in a variety of problems that are common among people.

Pastoral Ministry. This class deals with the biblical foundation for the pastoral

ministry and specific guidelines for common areas of pastoral practice in the pastor’s private

and public functions.

Ministry 101. Ministry 101 gives you a great foundation for pursuing basic ministry. This course is foundational for those who want to serve in a voluntary (bi-vocational) or salary position in ministry.

Interpreting the Scriptures. A study of the basic principles governing the accurate

interpretation of Scripture and how to use them effectively.

Homiletics (Preaching). A study of the principles relating to the spiritual feeding of a

congregation and the technical preparation and delivery of sermons.

Evaluating Current Trends. A biblical study of the principles one uses to discern

trends and true and false ministry with a special emphasis on the analysis of various trends

currently affecting the church world.

Ministry of Healing. This course aims at developing an integrated and holistic understanding of healing and wholeness as God’s intentional will for humanity. Contemporary models of healings in answer to prayer in the name of Jesus are probed and evaluated. Hindrances and obstacles in the ministry of divine healing will also be discussed, working towards the ideal of a global reclaiming of the New Testament teaching on healing as a regular and ongoing part of the life and ministry of the Christian Church.

Church Planting. A look at the biblical basis for church planting with particular

emphasis on the practical process from preparation to implementation.

Supernatural ways of Royalty. Discover your rights and privileges of being a son or daughter of God

Hermeneutics: Introduction to Biblical Studies. Introduction to Biblical Studies Old and New Testament

Creative Bible Study Methods. Introduces the Bible as the written Word of God, explains divisions of the Bible.

Basic Bible Survey. Teaching what Jesus taught that which took men who were fishermen, tax collectors and changed them into reproductive Christians who reached their world with the Gospel in demonstration of power.

Foundations of Faith. Introducing fundamental truths of the Christian faith

Kingdom Living. This class is designed to empower individuals to bring Heaven to Earth on a daily basis by releasing the Kingdom of God.

Pneumatology: Pentecostal / Charismatic Perspective. Studies New Testament passages relating to the Pentecostal doctrine of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Gives particular interest to the Spirit’s gifts and manifestations. Designed to provide a viable exegetical basis for a Pentecostal Theology of Spirit baptism.

Eschatology. This course is a study of both the nature and purpose of the church and a study of End Times.

Legacy Course Production. In this course students will learn how to produce biblically oriented materials in written format. Drafting, writing, researching, publishing, copyrights, distribution and more.

Fruit of the Spirit. In this series, we will explore the essential power God gives us to know Him, build our faith, have great temperament, build a wonderful church and even be a good witness.

Five-Fold Ministry This course is a study of the tools and use of relational evangelism and customized ministry for the growth of the church. This course will familiarize the student with the Five-fold Ministry offices, and their operation.

Ministerial Offices & Functions. This course is designed to identify the ministry offices, discover their functions, learn how to properly work in these offices, using the word of God as our example.

Conflict Management & Resolution. Examines various strategies to strengthen organizational efficiency by facilitating effective work relationships and conflict resolution. Explores common causes of conflict in a diverse workplace environment and successful approaches supporting a negotiation philosophy. Includes uncovering hidden agendas, maintaining respectful relationships, and fixing problems using objective criteria.

Kingdom Culture. Understand the Culture of the Kingdom, Creating Culture, changing cultures, examples of biblical narrative and business.

Prophetic Culture. To equip students to hear from God, to use the gift of prophecy, and to understand how prophetic ministry operates in the church today.

Team Building. A Course designed to help any team leader, from a sports coach to an executive professional, design and put together a winning team to achieve whatever goals it has set.

Self-Management This course will provide learners with the knowledge and skills to manage their time and plan their personal development. To learn practical measures that will help them succeed.

Deployment The transitional training of operational and developmental responsibilities from an organization. Assigning people to key positions.

Jewish Roots & Feasts This course will introduce participants to the Jewish background of the New Testament: the geography of Israel, the Jewish customs and feasts, the people groups, cultures, literature and institutions at the time of Jesus and His followers. We will also focus on God’s plan for atonement, His covenants with Israel, Messianic Prophecy, and the historical and theological origins of the split between Judaism and Christianity. At the end of the course we will examine what the New Testament says about God’s promises to the Jewish people and land of Israel.
