The Courier continued on page 3..... Schubert Theatre Receives Grant With grateful hearts and much appreciation, GREAT INC. is delighted to announce they received a $5,000 grant from Director/ President Harry L. Bettis of the Laura Moore Cunning- ham Foundation, Inc. to help fund the cost of the critical need of a new roof for the historical Schubert Theatre in Gooding Idaho. The members of the board are very excited to report that the cost of the drains have been met with the help of our very generous benefactors and local and out of state donations and we are well on our way for getting our new roof. With a November 6th dinner, silent auction and entertainment fundraiser called a night of “Hollywood” being planned, and hopeful responses from other grant applications, and your generous donations, we have every reason to believe we will have a new roof on before winter sets in. Watch your papers for more news on our “Hollywood” eve- ning of fun! “Electricity” is in the air with talk of the theatre being by Kailana Featherston Over 200 classic cars were on display by collectors and experts at the annual car show held on September 19 at Hagerman City Park. Many of the owners made creative posters and flyers about the history of their classical car and when it was made. The parade was filled with not only classic cars, but classic motorcycles, wagons, and bikes. Some Hagerman Car Show owners sold or swapped their classical cars, and many people around the county came to enjoy the event and parade. Classical cars may not fit in with the modern cars these years, but they have something that many mod- ern cars don’t have - style and character. Classic cars stand out from the look alike modern cars of today and catch everyone’s attention. In April 2014, a 40 year rolling rule was introduced for classic cars in Britain. It makes any cars built before January 1974, exempt from road tax. This means clas- sic car owner in the U.K. will not pay road tax start- ing in 2015. Currently in the U.S. the only place you can avoid tax on your vehicle is in Alaska, Delaware, Mon- tana, New Hampshire, and Oregon - state that do not have sales tax. The Hagerman Car Show was a very exciting event for family and friends. Many people are sharing and talk- ing about this well known event, and by the time the 2016 Hagerman car show rolls around, there will be new classic cars to show. The deadline is rapidly approaching for Idaho’s stu- dents to apply for upcoming internship opportunities in U.S. Senator Mike Crapo’s Washington, D.C., office, or one of his six regional of- fices throughout Idaho. Stu- dents have until October 15 to submit an application to be considered for an intern- ship position for the spring semester. The internship experience provides Idaho students a unique opportunity to learn about Congress and the leg- islative process firsthand. Interns assist the Senator and his staff with legislative research, constituent ser- vices and communications operations. Additionally, for interns serving in Washing- ton, D.C., opportunities to attend congressional hear- ings and provide tours of the U.S. Capitol to visiting Ida- hoans and industry leaders are made available. To learn more about in- ternships offered through Crapo’s office and access application materials, please visit the intern section of the Senator’s website at http:// www.crapo.senate.gov/ser- vices/interns.cfm. Students who are applying are en- couraged to email, not mail, their materials to Crapo’s D.C. office. HOME EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT

If you call a contractor yourself, that still counts as DIY.

*1.50% Introductory Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is available on Home Equity Lines of Credit with an 80% loan-to-value (LTV) or less. The Introductory Interest Rate will be fixed at 1.50% during the five-month Introductory Period. A higher introductory rate will apply for an LTV above 80%. Offer is available for new applications submitted from September 12, 2015–November 20, 2015. After the five-month introductory period: the APR is variable and is based upon an index plus a margin. The APR will vary with Prime Rate (the index) as published in the Wall Street Journal. As of September 11, 2015, the variable rate for Home Equity Lines of Credit ranged from 2.99% APR to 8.25% APR. Higher rates may apply due to an increase in the Prime Rate, for a credit limit below $125,000, an LTV at or above 80%, a low credit score and/or not having a U.S. Bank personal Package Checking account. A U.S. Bank personal package checking account is required to receive the lowest rate, but is not required for loan approval. The rate will not vary above 18% APR, or applicable state law, or below 1.50% APR. Choosing an interest-only repayment may cause your monthly payment to increase, possibly substantially, once your credit line transitions into the repayment period. Repayment options may vary based on credit qualifications. Interest only repayment may be unavailable. Loan approval is subject to credit approval and program guidelines. Not all loan programs are available in all states for all loan amounts. Interest rates and program terms are subject to change without notice. Property insurance is required. U.S. Bank and its representatives do not provide tax or legal advice. Your tax and financial situation is unique. You should consult your tax and/or legal advisor for advice and information concerning your particular situation.

Other restrictions may apply. Mortgage and Home Equity products offered by U.S. Bank National Association. Deposit Products are offered through U.S. Bank National Association. Customer pays no closing costs, except escrow-related funding costs. An annual fee of up to $90 may apply after the first year and is waived with a U.S. Bank personal Platinum Checking Package.
