TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

ROBAR, as used herein, means Robar Industries Ltd. a British Columbia Corporation and Les Produits Industriels Robar Inc. a Quebec Corporation. ENTIRE AGREEMENT. The terms and conditions stated here constitute the entire Agreement between the parties and any contrary or additional terms and conditions shall be of no effect unless agreed to in writing by an authorized officer of ROBAR. PRICES. All prices are stated F.O.B. ROBAR's shipping warehouse and are subject to change without notice. Prices in effect at time of shipping will apply unless prior written quotation was obtained. FREIGHT. All shipments to purchaser will be freight collect or prepaid-and-charge, unless the shipment qualifies for freight allowance as stated in the Freight Allowance Policy. TERMS OF PAYMENT. All invoices are due within 30 days. A 2% prompt pay discount may be calculated on the before-tax amount and deducted if paid within 20 days from date of invoice. DELIVERIES AND DELAYS. Normal deliveries are 14 to 28 days from date of order received. ROBAR shall not be held liable for any delay or default in delivery of products arising out of or resulting from any cause beyond the control of ROBAR. This includes armed conflict or economic dislocation resulting therefrom; embargoes, shortage of labor or work stoppage beyond the control of ROBAR; shortages of raw materials, fuel, energy, production facilities or transportation; civil disorders of any kind; fires; floods; disaster and accidents. TAXES. All prices are stated before taxes. Taxes will be added when applicable and are the responsibility of the purchaser. RETURNED GOODS. No returned goods will be accepted without prior authorization. All goods approved for return will be subject to a 35% minimum restocking charge. Products made to the purchaser's specification and requiring special materials or sizing may not be returned. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS. Any orders that are canceled will be subject to charges to the extent of the amount of labour and material already expended. Cancellation of orders already in transit will not be accepted and will be subject to the Returned Goods Policy stated above. DISCLAIMER. ROBAR warrants its products only against defects in materials and workmanship. ROBAR's liability is expressly limited to repayment of the purchase price, repair, or replacement. ROBAR reserves the right to furnish substitutes for materials which cannot be reasonably obtained because of reasons beyond ROBAR's control. TITLE AND RISK. Title and risk of loss or damage to the goods shipped passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier regardless of who pays the shipping costs. WARRANTY. See ROBAR's One Year Limited Warranty.

WARRANTY

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY All products manufactured and sold by ROBAR Industries Ltd. are warranted to be free from defects in material and factory workmanship for a period of one year from purchase. Under this warranty, ROBAR has the option to adjust, repair or replace the defective products. Any claim for shortages or damage in transit must be made directly with the carrier. Any claims for shortages of parts must be made within three days of receiving shipment and only if such shortages and/or damage are noted on the carrier's Bill of Lading. ROBAR will not be liable for any consequential, incidental or other damages or injuries incurred by the purchaser or the user of products manufactured and sold by ROBAR. All claims for breach of warranty must be made in writing immediately upon discovery and sent to the Head Office of the company in Surrey, B.C., Canada. Any defective products must be held for inspection by a ROBAR representative. ROBAR does not make any warranty of the merchantability or the fitness of the products and/or parts manufactured and sold. Any references by ROBAR to the purchaser's specifications or requirements are strictly for identification purposes and the onus remains entirely on the buyer to select the appropriate product to fit an application. ROBAR does not warranty any products if they are used in an application other than what they are intended for. This warranty may not be changed except by agreement in writing signed by an officer of ROBAR Industries Ltd.

SIZES AVAILABLE: 2" to 24" Nominal Pipe OD. APPLICATIONS: ROBAR 1408 Straight and Transition Couplings are used to make a non-restrained connection between two pipes of the same nominal size but with same or different OD's.

MATERIAL SPECIFICATION: - COUPLING CONFORMS TO AWWA C219 - 91 Center Sleeve: Cast Ductile Iron (ASTM A536). End Rings: Cast Ductile Iron (ASTM A536). Gaskets: SBR (Buna S) Rubber (AWWA C111). Other compounds available. Fasteners: 5/8" NC HSLA Steel (AWWA C111). Coating: Two coats of Enamel. SIZES AVAILABLE: 2" to 24" Nominal Pipe OD. APPLICATIONS: ROBAR 1519R Reducing Couplings are used to make a non-restrained connection between two pipes of different nominal sizes. They are specially designed (cathodically fitted) to allow for electrical continuity throughout the entire fitting. Sacrificial anodes* are recommended to protect the coupling assembly as long as "continuity" is maintained between the coupling components. To ensure "isolation" between metal pipes, the use of ROBAR 1180 Isolation Boots is recommended. (See "ROBAR 1180 Isolation Boot" product information sheet, page 1.1.1). Isolation Boots are available in Straight, Transition or Reducing styles.

There are four basic styles: Single End without limit rods (8808-1), Single End with Limit Rods (8808-2), Double End without limit rods (8808-3), and Double End with Limit Rods (8808-4). All of these are available in two other configurations: 8809 and 8906 (see below). APPLICATIONS: 8808 Expansion Joints are used in Steel pipelines where large longitudinal pipe movements are concentrated. Use for piping water, gas, oil and various chemicals.

CONSTRUCTION: Similar to details of Style 2 Expansion Joints except that this style has two Stop Rings welded on the Slip pipes As with Style 3, a set of double nuts engages each Stop Ring to limit the Slip Pipes from pulling out of the joint. INSTALLATION: The Expansion Joint may be contracted to 26 1/4" length or fully expanded to 36 1/4" length. The installer sets the length between these two extremes. The Slip Pipe is welded to one pipe in the line, and the joint Body is welded to the other pipe. Care should be taken to protect the gasket-bearing surfaces from corrosion or undue wear from line content or environment. INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR ORDERING:

9999 RECREATIONAL HORSESHOESCAST DUCTILE IRON

PLAYING THE GAME To Start: A coin is tossed. The winner decides who pitches first. Singles: One player throws two "A" horseshoes at the opposite stake. His opponent throws "B" horseshoes

in turn at the same stake. They then walk to the stake, tally the score and pitch back towards the first stake.

Doubles: Partners separate, one at each stake. Shoes are tossed by one set of opponents as discussed in

Singles. Their partners toss their horseshoes back in turn. Scores are added together without the necessity of travel between ends.

Pitching: The pitcher must stand with his feet behind the foul line until the horseshoe has left his hand. The

opponent must not distract the pitcher. Neither player may walk to the opposite stake until four horseshoes have been thrown. Horseshoes should not be touched or moved until scores have been decided.

Scoring: In order to score one point, a shoe must be within a specified distance of the stake. Official rules

state 6 inches. For convenience in recreation, the width across the "prongs" may be used. A "ringer" is a horseshoe which encircles the stake so that a straight edge will touch the tips of the

prongs without touching the stake. Ringers score 3 points. In official rules a leaning shoe has no value over one touching the stake, but in recreational play 2 points may be allotted to "leaners".

Any horseshoe closer to the stake than an opponent's scores points. If one player scores one

ringer and his opponent also scores a ringer, they cancel. If one player scores two ringers and his opponent scores one ringer, the first player scores 3 points. The high scorer in one innning pitches first in the next inning. If an inning results in "no points" the order of pitching alternates.
