Outagamie County initiated County CB Extension Study (2010)

Alternatives were developed and presented to the public

Lack of local support and funding

Project was put on hold in 2013

WisDOT roundabout construction (2013)

WIS 15 and County CB intersection

Provided for future continuation of CTH CB north of WIS 15

Corridor History

East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (ECWRPC)

WIS 15 Access and Congestion Management Study (2017)

Study focused on safety issues from Interstate 41 west through

the Town/Village of Greenville

Rapidly growing northwest portion of the Fox Cities Metropolitan

Planning Organization (MPO)

Endorsed the County CB Extension as a near-term priority

Outagamie County Comprehensive Plan

Approved in 2020

Recommended finalizing the preferred route for the north

extension of CTH CB from WIS 15 to CTH JJ

CB Corridor Route Planning Goals

Design

Develop and identify a preferred alternative for County CB

Coordination

Work collaboratively with the Village of Greenville and Town of

Grand Chute to establish a preferred alternative

Responsibly plan for future transportation needs that promotes

growth and development in both municipalities

Planning

Map the corridor to preserve the future right of way in response to

future development

Corridor mapping → Preserve Corridor → Promote development
