Standing on a Solid Foundation

Country Lane was established in 1981 by OrlanMartin. But the tradition of exceptional qualitybuilding began 24 years earlier, in 1957. Orlanmade his start in carpentry working alongside hisuncle, Menno S. Martin, a legendary builder. Anold-world craftsman, Menno was a gifted mentorwho instilled in Orlan the solid values of tradi-tional workmanship that are the hallmark ofevery Country Lane Home today:

Orlan then passed on to his sons his remarkableskills and a passion for building. The brothers now share the man-agement of Country Lane between them and arepleased to be educating the next generation in theart of exceptional building.
