I am a Georgia licensed Nursing Home Administrator with 28 years’ experience in the Long Term Care setting. I assisted with the design and opening of and then managed the Fountainview Center for Alzheimer ’s disease at Emory for 21 years. Prior to my tenure with Fountain Companies, I was the Administrator of a skilled 120 bed nursing home in West Georgia that was family owned and operated. I served as a Senior Director for five nursing homes with a large nursing home chain later into my career. I left the Long Term Care Industry to experience senior living at different level. I accepted a consulting position with Hope Elder Care and assisted in the design and opening of the Hope Center in Fayetteville. It’s a pleasure to work with the staff at Country Gardens, they are some of the BEST! I enjoy visiting and talking with the residents, families, and the many volunteers that are a big part of this beautiful community. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you! Happy Birthday 6/12 MALONE 6/13 GLEASON 6/21 DAVIS I took the position as Activities Director at Country Gardens in July 2014. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA. Go Wolverines! Best marching band in Atlanta at the time. My love for seniors started with my grandmother as a teen. I’ve enjoyed working in nursing homes, memory care, and senior living for over 10 years. I love what I do and am very passionate about seniors. Karlie Calhoun is a native to Peachtree City, Georgia, and has been working with Senior Solutions since February 2015. She attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduating in 2013, Karlie moved to Oudtshoorn, South Africa to work at a wildlife ranch for endangered species. Once she returned to Georgia, she started her career with Senior Solutions as the Activities Director at the Hope Center, and later became the Business Office Manager for Hope and then Country Gardens. Karlie loves adventures, traveling, and a great story.
