COUNTERING WEEE ILLEGAL TRADE PROJECT Final Conference
25-26 June 2015, Lyon - France
We are pleased to invite you to the final conference of the Countering WEEE IllegalTrade (CWIT) project to present you the project’s preliminary findings. The CWITconsortium is taking on the challenge of providing a set of recommendations to the enduser community and the European Commission to assist them in countering WEEEillegal trade.
This event on 25-26 June 2015 will cover the following topics: - WEEE flows, WEEE market and WEEE actors. - Drivers of criminal e-waste activities - Recommendations aimed at tackling illegal trade of WEEE.
The CWIT conference will bring together actors involved and interested in the trade ofWEEE, in particular representatives of enforcement agencies, policy making institutionsand the electronics (recycling) industry.

INTERPOL staff will accompany visitors from security check point to the conferenceroom.
For entry into the INTERPOL premises, attendees are required to bring their officialidentification documents (passport, national ID) to the event.
Due to security control we encourage attendees to arrive to INTERPOL at 08.00.
As part of the preventive measures taken by INTERPOL to deal with the threat posedby the Ebola virus, please complete the provided survey prior to your arrival at thepremises.
The conference language is English and there will be no translation provided.
Conference admission is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs incurred byattendees during the workshop will not be covered by the CWIT project.
Dinner
Attendees are invited to join the networking dinner on Thursday 25 June at 20.00 uponearlier registration and payment only (please make sure you have your Xingticket with you).
