Counterculture of God's Kingdom - Part 4 r God's Kingdom really is the solution for the ills of culture & society today. If you , YOU can become the COUNTERCULTURE OF GOD'S KINGDOM! Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream that he proclaimed in 1963 said, "1have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." That statement echoes the of God. Instead of God's intention and embracing the of our diversity - we see racism and racial tensions in increasing supply. When we let this seep into our hearts, we begin to believe that THEY (regardless of race) THEY are the and WE are the ____ . And as a result, WE hate THEM more than ever. In fact, maybe WE need to get even with THEM. If we are really part of God's Counterculture, we must transform racial divisions into racial harmony. We must declare: 1. I am gripped by & anchored to GOD'S WORD! 2. As God's Counterculture, I REPENT! 3. When God's Kingdom lives in me as it does in heaven, the King has _____ me and His righteousness rules both in and through me. 4. As I worship God and fellowship with BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST, I see redeemed hearts that love the Lord just like I do. 5. Because my life is .. , I am SALT and LIGHT in my world. I sow seeds of racial rest and peace for everyone to see and hear. 6. Since Heaven isn't segregated, neither should my church! The ONLY way for that to become reality is for men and women from all ethnic groups to become brothers and sisters in Christ and live together in His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven!
