Agriculture Program/Academy

Students entering the Agriscience Pathway in the 9th grade can meet Science graduation and UC/CSU entrance requirements.

Classes are also available in the areas of Intro. To Ag Mech Skills & Tech, Floriculture and Agriculture Leadership.

Agriculture students participate in leadership development activities to gain knowledge and skills that will aid them in college and the workforce.

Thousands of dollars in college scholarships are awarded specifically to agriculture students each year.

BEST Academy (GHS only)Biomedical Engineering Science

Technology Academy The pathway is for students

interested in Engineering or the Medical field.

The Best Academy begins in the 9th grade year.

Students will enroll in Introduction to Engineering or Principles of Biomedical Science as their elective.

You would be placed with fellow program students in English, Math and Science.

Galt High offers a state of the Art Engineering laboratory and work space.

An end of year exam for each course may qualify students for college credit.

Multiple assessment tools will be used during registration to determine your placement in Math and English courses We will re-evaluate

placement at the end of your 8th grade year to finalize course placement.

By the time you graduate high school, our goal is for your Lexile Reading level to be at 1300 to help you be

College and Career Ready!
