Ensuring access to affordable housing

Monday, January 12, 20156:30pm - 8:30pm

Antibes Community Centre140 Antibes Drive

Ward 10 Town Hall

Ensuring access to affordable housing is a priority for my office. With over 75,000 on the waiting list, it is one of the most challenging issues facing Toronto. My office holds regular meetings in TCHC buildings to speak directly with residents regarding their concerns.

Preventing Unreasonable Developments

Toronto is one of the fastest growing cities in North America and Europe. Poorly planned developments can harm established neighbourhoods and undermine years of work by the community. I am committed to ensuring that residents’ voices are heard when it comes to unreasonable development site plans such as the one for Wilmington Plaza. I will always fight to protect residents at North York Community Council, City Council, Committee of Adjustment and the OMB. Please visit www.jamespasternak.ca for updates on ongoing development applications.
