• Modern rail production technology and the requirements of railways within the Community have demanded a completely new look at the philosophy and content

• This EN is performance based and requires manufacturers to offer the latest proven technology to consistently satisfy the demanding quality of the required product

• Guarantee is considered as a commercial aspect by CEN. Therefore, it is not included in this EN and the guarantee definition and conditions have to be written in the commercial contract
