FANTASIC SALE! Top sale horse sells for $7,400. Smaller sale this month due but the quality was excellent. Buyers were there shopping and willing to pay the price. Only one no sale out of the 89 head in the offering, tells the story. The Schultes Ranch from western SD brought us a excellent set of 7 ranch used geldings. They averaged $3,800 selling from the Top Sale Horse of $7,400 which sold to J. Simon, Oklahoma to a bottom of $2,600. Dana Nelson from South Dakota sold the Reserve Top Sale Horse, a buckskin gelding for $4,800 to a SD Buyer. The Loose Horse Sale continues to be as good as it gets. The top 10 loose horses average $1,880 with top loose horse selling for $2800.

The September 12, Zoss Dispersal Sale was a BIG success!

The weanlings averaged $1003, selling from a top of $2400 for a bay filly to a bottom of $650 for a sorrel filly. The stud yearlings averaged $2760 with the top one, Lot 49, selling for $5,000. The 10 yearling fillies averaged $1570. The 2-year old geldings averaged $2750 selling from a top of $3,200 on Lot 30. a dun gelding. Over all the 2-yr olds, mares & fillies averaged $2188. 24 Bred mares average $1700 selling from a top of $3600 on Lot 47, pictured below. A few Sales are pictured :

Serious Buyers filled the bleachers at sale time. We also had 41 phone bids on the offering to take care of with often 3 people on the phones for bidding on same horse. Bidding was very active thru out the sale.

The place was swarming with Buyers from 14 different states, from Mississippi to Texas, looking over the horses prior to the start of the auction.
