The Question
What is the relationship between p4 student academic achievement in social science and the ICT use in the classroom ?
Independent variable - ICT using in classroom
Dependence variable - student examination result in social science classes
Data collectionChoose a sample primary school and one class of
p4 student. Separate the students into two groups averagely.
Give the students a test of social science.One group student study the social science with
ICT using; the other group study the social science only.
Give the two groups another test of social science.Compare the advancement of two group students.

of ICT in classInterview with teachers and random choose
of student and their parents.
The assumption of research findings
If a positive correction is found:
ICT can equip student logical thinking by providing them a helpful scaffolding and inspire the students with interests.
ICT provide a easy way for student to communicate their thinking each other, seeking help from expert, professional and teachers.
If a negative correction is found:
Using ICT can not lead a positive role in the process of teaching and learning.
Or, ICT is not made best use in the classroom.
What should we think about ?
Can teacher suitable use of ICT as teaching tools, can they got the sufficient knowledge ?
Can student familiar with using ICT so as to improve their study ?
Are there any other tool better than ICT teaching, such as newspaper, educational TV programme.
Contributions to EducationThe research findings could show that:
Whether the integration of ICT in classroom make a positive role in enhancing education especially in the subject of social science?
Is students familiar with the use of ICT in their learning? Does it improve their study?
Does the ICT improve the learning design?Etc.
