When converting a 3500 Genset from a 480 Volt Sensing VR3 Regulator to a 240 Volt SensingVR6 Regulator, use the wiring diagrams shown in Table 1.

For selfexcited generators, 2429702 Voltage Regulator Gp is the the Cancel Replace By (CRB)for 1496131 Regulator .

For permanent magnet generators, 2429703 Voltage Regulator Gp is the Cancel Replace By (CRB)for 1553819 Voltage Regulator As .

For retrofit instructions, refer to Special Instruction, REHS2505, "VR6B Regulator Installation for3500 Generator Sets".
