Year 3- 4Home learning pack
Week beginning 30.03.20
STEM: This week we would like you to come up with a brand new invention. Something no one has ever thought of before. We would like you to create a poster to show and explain your design. We would also like you to write a pitch letter explaining why we need this invention.
Art: Children up and down the country are spreading the colour. Why not join in too! Draw, paint or collage a picture of a rainbow and place it in a window. This will add a smile to someone’s day. Mrs Packer has spotted a few near her house!

100cm+ 54cm=125cm + 66cm=1m + 50cm=3m + 10cm=326cm + 101cm=267cm + 155cm=1.2m + 1m=
Top Tips: Remember to convert the amounts in to equivalent measurements (using the same form of measurements – cm’s etc). This will support your ability to answer the questions accurately.
Challenge: Come up with your own calculations. Challenge yourself by mixing the measurement amounts. Example: 10cm + 100mm =
Maths: Using your measurement knowledge can you convert these measurements. For example- 20cm= 0.2m 1cm = 10mm
Complete the table:
