Priestly Ordinations From Fr. Patrick Beneteau, Director of Vocations and Seminarians:

With praise and gratitude to Almighty God, the Diocese of London and St. Peter’s Seminary announce the ordinations of Rev. Mr. Paul Kim and Rev. Dr. Robert Weaver to the min-isterial priesthood. The Sacrament of Holy Orders will be celebrated by His Excellency Ronald Peter Fabbro, Bishop of London, on Saturday, April 28 at 11 am at St. Peter’s Cathe-dral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Ave., London. All are welcome to attend. We assure Deacon Paul and Deacon Robert of our support and prayer, as they prepare for ordination.

Mass Intentions Please remember to schedule your mass intentions at least 6 months in advance - we are now booking in October. We do have openings at the masses which are held at Kensing-ton Court on Wednesdays at 11:00 am and Huron Lodge on alternate Saturdays at 10:00 am.

The Sacrament

of Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be

celebrated on April 17 and April 18 at

7:00 pm. Archbishop James H. MacDonald, Arch-

bishop Emeritus of St. John, Newfoundland will be

the celebrant. Archbishop MacDonald is now in resi-

dence at the Holy Cross Community Retirement Cen-

tre in Welland, Ontario.

We are indeed fortunate that the Archbishop

has accepted our invitation to be the Confirming

Prelate for our young men and women confirmandi.

This might be the only occasion that they will indeed

interact with a bishop. Archbishop MacDonald is

truly a trouper; he has passed the impressive age of

92; he is a good friend. I applaud his faithfulness

and his commitment to the Church.

There are 93 young men and women celebrating

the Sacrament of Confirmation, the last of 3 Sacra-

ments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist and Confir-

mation. Our young men and women are now consid-

ered Young Adults in the Roman Catholic Church.

Congratulations to them all. Please pray that the

Holy Spirit will guide their steps and the choices

they make this week and always.

Classes Begin Fr. Chris will be offering his class “Fides et Ra-

tio” (Faith and Reason) beginning May 18th (every

Friday) and ending July 13th. In previous classes Fr.

Chris has tackled various subjects that are some-

times challenging to understand in the culture we

belong to today. Fr. Chris will offer 9 Sessions on

two main topics: Catholic - Philosophy and Catholic -

Spirituality. These sessions will take place from

7:00 - 8:30 PM with a 30 minute question period fol-

lowing. There is no cost or registration required. All

of these classes will also be recorded (Audio - only)

and made available on our Parish Facebook Page. If

you have any questions please contact Fr. Chris Pie-

traszko ([email protected]).

Corpus Christi is interested in soliciting for

grass cutting/trimming services.

The Feast of Corpus Christi will be celebrated the next week with a procession including the First Communi-
