What We Do2

Inside Your Office

Utilizing the space within your office or conference room,

we come onsite and create a salon experience for your

employees, guests and customers.

Outside Your Office

The (4) station salon trailer is equipped with (3)

washbowls, television, stereo, heating, a/c, bathroom and

more! No hook-ups required, all we need is designated

space (at least 30 ft or 4 parking spots) for parking.Inside Your Office

We’re a registered and insured salon, staffed with

licensed professionals that provide quality cuts, hair

styling, manicures, makeup application and esthetics.

▸A: Appointments are scheduled in 30, 45 or 60 minute increments

for corporate events, weddings and wellness programs. For

activations we can customize quick services to maximize the

amount of touches during the event.

▸A: Everyone, we are a multicultural unisex salon and barbershop.

▸Q3. Can a trailer really function as a salon?

▸A: Yes, the trailer is sleek, durable and spacious. CHOP CHOP

is custom built and comes with 4 hair/makeup stations, 3 wash

bowls, a restroom, t.v., air/heat and much more!

▸Q4: Are mobile stylists as good as stylist found in traditional

salons?

▸A: Yes! Since we’re mobile, our stylists have the ability to service

everyone despite their hair type and/or ethnic background.

▸A: Yes! Since we’re mobile, our stylists have the ability to service

everyone despite their hair type and/or ethnic background.

▸Q5: How do I prepare for the pop-up salon team and salon trailer?

▸A: Select a room or space you’d like the team to set-up that allows

space for 4 chairs. Our team will bring all the equipment and supplies

necessary. For the trailer we need a minimum 30 ft. to park the trailer,

which equates to about (4) parking spots.

▸Q6: What is the minimum and max amount of people that can be

serviced at once in the trailer? With the pop-up?

▸A: With 4 stations the amount of people serviced will depend on the

allotted time frame and services requested. Ex. At a full day rate CHOP

CHOP can service up to 56 people at an average service time of 30

minutes.

About Us19

At 7 months pregnant with her second child, Kesia experienced her

first corporate layoff. After interviewing and landing a new role, Kesia

went on maternity leave determined to start a business as a back up

plan, in the event of another massive layoff.

While on maternity leave in 2014, Kesia had a lot of time to watch the

news and read social posts regarding the increasing number of young

African American men slain by police officers. The hate that existed in

the comments and the segregation Kesia knew existed not just in

Chicago but cities across the nation, compelled her to take action.

Kesia King founded CHOP CHOP Mobile Salon & Barber as a way to

combine her love for the beauty industry, with her strong belief in

creating platforms for multi-cultural engagement and interaction.

CHOP CHOP’s Mission: To create platforms that foster dialog,

connection and exchange and dispel racial stereotypes one haircut at

a time.
